Tom . . .
Your Jim Jeffries table had Bobby Chacon, Armando Muniz, Vince Delgado, Roger, Maria, Randy, Jeri, Ed Hernandez & son, and myself.
Thank you. As a guy who was born and raised in the City of Burbank, and went to a Jr. High School on "Jeffries Ave." I was right at home.

This is the photo I was hoping to get. Danny "Little Red" Lopez and Bobby Chacon (with Rosie). Two of California's finest and two of my all time favorites. It doesn't get any better than this.

On the way home she asked me when was the WBHOF Banquet. Maria hates sports and doesn't like going with me when I attend functions with my football pals.
Maria's strength is her instincts of other people. Today I'd glance at her. She would hit me in the ribs.
"There's Mando."
"There's Gato."
"There's Frank."
God bless her. God bless the fighters. Looking forward to October 24th at the Marriot Hotel.
Thank you Roger. We must also not forget to thank Tom Ray, as one of my two tables was bought by Tom. (James J Jeffries) Thank you Tom....

I was not aware of your purchase of the "Jeffries" table. Thank you so much. Roger and Maria.

After Jeri and I left Steven's we headed over to downtown. We were going to stop at the L.A Live across the street from the Staples Center but as we got close the traffic got to congested and I didn't feel like bothering with it. We headed over to the Los Angeles Farmer's Market for a while. We were suddenly hungry again. We walked around for a while and then I remembered the fight was on tonight.
With Arreola I'm hoping for the best but prepared for the worst.
By the way, for some reason, and I'm sure it was the photographer and not the camera, many of the photos I took did not come out clear or are just too dark. Maybe I can fix them.

I'm watching but I'm not giving it my full attention.
By the way, replay or not, I'm still pulling for Marquez.

Well I was wrong. It was a so so fight. To pretty unskilled guys. Jerry Quarry would have been champ today.

I'm with you , Roger. I knew that the big oaf wouldn't like those body shots.
Arreola's only real shot was to pull him into the late rounds, and he did.
I wasn't the ref or in the corner, you can't question a trainer's decision to protect his boxer's health, but Vitali isn't known as a solid 12-round performer.
Klits was in pretty good shape and kept up a strong pace.
But you're right , Rog. Quarry would have been the heavyweight champ tonight!

Same here Rick. Arreola was clearly in over his head but he showed heart. He lost and we can't fault him for that. Kitsckho showed some class in the interview but he's lucky to be fighting in the weakest era in heavyweight history.

Along with Eddie Machen,Zora Folley, and Leotis Martin. Anyone I left out that was a heavyweight contender who would have taken advantage of Vitali's awkwardness backing up and carrying his hands low?
