Re: Ringside,Fury v Haye ?
thing is guys when was the last time Haye was in the ring ? over 20 months ago , another thing is the only time Haye has fought men the same size as Tyson was the Giant Valuev whom most people(incuding the sky sports panel ) thought he had lost, and big Wlad who Haye said he was gonna knock out in 5 rounds but instead decided to run like a prime web co for 12 round then blame it on his toe .
I think its a 50/50 fight , if Haye gets him early or Fury late on imo ;;-)

'Intimidated' no don't think so, more like supressed rage as he was dying to clump the tw*t there and then.

Re: Ringside,Fury v Haye ?
I strongly fancy a Haye win but i dont think even Furys biggest critics can deny that if Fury lands cleanly, then Haye will go down,Klitschko couldnt land cleanly on Haye coz David never got involved but you sense he,ll get involved against Fury, making him vulnreble to the big fellamrpedigree wrote:thing is guys when was the last time Haye was in the ring ? over 20 months ago , another thing is the only time Haye has fought men the same size as Tyson was the Giant Valuev whom most people(incuding the sky sports panel ) thought he had lost, and big Wlad who Haye said he was gonna knock out in 5 rounds but instead decided to run like a prime web co for 12 round then blame it on his toe .

50/50 fight ?
Re: Ringside,Fury v Haye ?
Haye was in the ring exactly 12 months ago this weekend. Anyone who had Valuev winning needs to look again. I think sky (or Jim Watt) was probably doing the usual 'score it as they think the foreign judges would score it' routine rather than with their own opinion.mrpedigree wrote:thing is guys when was the last time Haye was in the ring ? over 20 months ago , another thing is the only time Haye has fought men the same size as Tyson was the Giant Valuev whom most people(incuding the sky sports panel ) thought he had lost, and big Wlad who Haye said he was gonna knock out in 5 rounds but instead decided to run like a prime web co for 12 round then blame it on his toe .

Re: Ringside,Fury v Haye ?
I'm surprised anyone thinks either of them is intimidated by the other.

Indeed, he seemed bored if anything. Fury is 'amusing' for around 30 secs, tedious beyond that.Andypittcov wrote:Haye was cool calm and collected throughout, fury was not

Re: Ringside,Fury v Haye ?
I laughed too. What a great way to sell a PPV by predicting the fight will be a stinkeryoungrell wrote:I didn't see Haye as being intimidated, I think he was genuinely shocked at how mental Tyson Fury is.
I pissed myself at Fury saying "I predict a stinker" after looking Haye in the eyes and asking if he's going to fight or stink the place out. He's one funny character.
Re: Ringside,Fury v Haye ?
And then in his very next statement, predicting the most exciting fight in british history.youngrell wrote:I didn't see Haye as being intimidated, I think he was genuinely shocked at how mental Tyson Fury is.

I'm just looking forward to tyson "bringing 205cm of inside fightingness"
The guy is painfully stupid!

Re: Ringside,Fury v Haye ?
Listen , Tyson Fury comes from a tough working class background like most of us , I think, on this forum. We have all met someone who you just know cannot be intimidated, and given the right circumstances would stand against a Sherman tank with a peashooter just because they refuse to back down. Usually they are 5 foot 2 inches and weigh six stones.
The problem for David Haye is the 'someone' is 6 foot 9 inches and about 18 stones. The only way Haye can win is by knocking Fury spark out -unconscious. That might happen - but I doubt it.
What made Ali the greatest sportsman ever was that he made outrageous boasts - but backed them up with results. Fury is being perfectly clear about what he is going to do to Haye. If he doesn't follow through , he's finished.
Personally I think Fury will utterly destroy Haye , and go on to beat either Klitschko. He means what he says , he doesn't have any doubts. He's the next big thing in world boxing.
