It would seem like a fitting fight though at the moment!SouthpawStephen wrote:Ortiz folds under pressure. But it would be a sweet fight while it lasted.columbo wrote:I wonder if we might see Karass vs Ortiz in the near future.....
Berto/Soto Karass and Undercard RBR.

Karass vs. Alvarez
Re: Berto/Soto Karass and Undercard RBR.
Does this mean Karass gets Mayweather next? Beating Berto qualifies you as a Floyd opponent.
Re: Berto/Soto Karass and Undercard RBR.
I wanna see it, especially while Berto is psychologically fragile and on a losing streakRover wrote:I'd favor Berto in that one, though I'd be rooting for Kim.gilgamesh wrote:Soto Karass stops him in the 12th. Berto is relegated to FNF status after this one in my view.
Hell why not Berto vs Ji-Hoon Kim
Re: Berto/Soto Karass and Undercard RBR.
Yeah that shit pisses me off..... Berto was having it taken to him before the 'supposed' injury.SouthpawStephen wrote:Excuses.

I don't think kids seeing their father potentially getting beat up is a good thing. The kids could get traumatized.SouthpawStephen wrote:Their culture is different. Re: Berto/Soto Karass and Undercard RBR.
thank god he took it out of the judges hands. look at those scores.
Re: Berto/Soto Karass and Undercard RBR.
What were the scores?
Re: Berto/Soto Karass and Undercard RBR.
Lol... Yeah, knew the winner of the 12th was going to take the fight. Corrupt Tx judges.

Re: Berto/Soto Karass and Undercard RBR.
This card was better than any PPV this year.
Re: Berto/Soto Karass and Undercard RBR.
Maybe Thurman vs Karass? Id strongly favour Keith but it wouldnt surprise me if it happened.Rover wrote:God I hope not.Blodhemn wrote:Does this mean Karass gets Mayweather next? Beating Berto qualifies you as a Floyd opponent.

They were saying on the UK broadcast that there was tickets for that card going for 25 and 10 dollars! That would be cheap night of great entertainment.

Thurman vs Ortiz would be a great fight whilst it lasted aswell!
Re: Berto/Soto Karass and Undercard RBR.
It is I had it 8 rounds to 3 in his favor. 106-101. He was well ahead in my view. Good thing he didn't allow the judges to steal it from him.columbo wrote:That's total BSBlodhemn wrote:105-103 Berto

Yeah, columbo, I'd enjoy Thurman/Ortiz--until Ortiz quits.
Re: Berto/Soto Karass and Undercard RBR.
You never know with Victor though! He's a weird one. It would of been easy for him to quit at times against Berto but he didnt.Rover wrote:Yeah, columbo, I'd enjoy Thurman/Ortiz--until Ortiz quits.

On a side note. As a boxing fan I think Golden boy put on a lot of good cards where there is near on 50-50 fights. Hats off to them for that because it doesnt happen enough in boxing.
Re: Berto/Soto Karass and Undercard RBR.
Victor is strange, wbut he'd likely find a way to lose, and Berto isn't that special, obviously.
