It was close enough that a judge that wanted to could have given it to Matthysse by a point...but I'd say pretty clear. Garcia beat Matthysse by about as much as Matthysse beat Alexander, if you saw that fight.

And Colombo (why I continue to entertain you is beyond me, but...), sometimes guys improve. I'm surprised as hell, but there's a reason every expert you could find was picking Matthysse by knockout. I was hardly the only one. Garcia's skills bore little or no relation to the very hittable stiff fighter he was in the Judah, Morales, and even Khan fights. Kudos to him. But you remain a troll.

Garcia does what he has to do. Tonight it was low blows and combos, and a tricky pull down. No complaints on the decision but I felt it was very close.

Matthysse was pulling Garcia's head down which was leading to the low blows.
