A black friend of mine, who isn't a boxing fan, just text me about AJ..... "That boy is one big tough n1gger". I'm guessing that's a compliment.

It's cheap and one bottle has the same amount of caffeine as 8 cans of coke, 43% of alcohol fuelled crimes are by people drinking buckfast and in some places 35% of litter is bucky bottles.

Did he actually say that or are you purely taking the piss there?

I have just watched Crawford vs Sanabria.

The Mexican was tall & rangy & appeared heavy-handed; he surprised Crawford with some straight shots & a couple of authoritative jabs, the occasional left hook as they came out of exchanges. Crawford used a quite savage long/mid-range body attack to weaken Sanabria, then took him out with a brutal lead left hook thrown off a feinted jab (i.e. he showed the Mexican a jab then pulled it around into a hook) at the start of the sixth, same sort of punch Jhonny Gonzalez flattened Abner Mares with. One punch job;though Sanabria got up, he was gone.

Crawford reminds me hugely of a certain Jose A. Gonzalez. Not as slick defensively but punches in the same stance, from the same angles.

This is going to be veeeeeeeeeery interesting.

I agree on the Gonzalez comparison.

You can't knock the Scots for getting behind their man. Good turn out.

I think Crawford looks better as a southpaw than an righty though. I think we'll see him fighting more out of the southpaw stance.

Burns walking to the ring. Crawford in the ring, predictably, being shown a fair & non-partisan welcome in the best Scottish sporting tradition.

Wish someone would inject the cunting ring announcer with deep-fried smack, or something.

& Burns' gay disco ring entrance never ceases to dismay, er, I mean amaze me.

Ricky is just starting making his way to the ring. Scorching atmosphere. Not sure what the song he's walking in to is.
