No, I read it in an interview years and years ago - he loved it out there, he had a real interest - I think he kept snakes but wanted to be where he could go out and see them in their habitat. Honest.

I've had my eye on this topic since it started, after 178 boxing fans voted the results are 51/49 % in favor of khan losing ! It's a great fight, can't wait

Backing khan to win with his speed, he will have a couple of hairy rounds but I back khan on points or a controversial late stoppage by the ref.

fight meant to be going off around 10 or 11am for me but seeing as we're always in the dark about it I can't decide if I can be bothered to get up and go out. I'd love to watch Amir fight - as a Brit who has been to watch Khan on a couple of occasions, it's the more interesting fight for me. Also it sounds like a good match-up.

As the bout's in Vegas I'd have thought the main support would be on around 2.30 am. In any case I'm recording the next scheduled program to make sure I get all the card.

I'm in for 300 on Collazo any method between 1-12 @100/30.

My thinking is he will get hit with a big shot. If he takes it fair enough but smaller fighters have hurt him so 100/30 on that represents value

I think you've taken a big risk there. Julio Diaz gave him a clattering - in fact he nearly had him out of there, Khan was like Bambi for 3 or 4 minutes. Is Collazo any fresher or better than Julio Diaz?? I'm not so sure. And lest we forget Khan stood up to a hellacious battering from Maidana. For all that gets made of Amir Khan's dodgy chin - the work that Prescott did to him in the first minute would have had fighters from most weight categories out of there, and he also got up from Prescott's first barrage.

Khan will be finished by a left hook - just look he was v Prescott, Garcia and almost Diaz.

The top and bottom of it is that Khan is moving up in weight after being a top level fighter at light welter; Collazo is a decent welter who had a good result against a flakey fighter last time out. Collazo is not Julian Jackson and he does not hit like Garcia or Maidana or Prescott; Collazo is strong, fit and insistent and he doesn't deal with speed, mobility and combinations well. Khan will win and look good. Some boxers have shown a lot more resilience after moving up in weight - Khan may be one of them.

I disagree mate. Berto possesses all those assets and Collazo done pretty well with him.

And Mosely ran him out of town.

Khan was meant to magically become durable by jumping from lightweight to light-welter. Chin was still dodgy. Now we're being told the same tale again. When Collazo wipes him out will he move up to light-middle?

The whole idea of fighters jumping up in weight class to make them more punch-resistant is absurd.

Key thing is weight for me. Anyone who's been fighting at the given weight for a while tends to hurt khan. Collazo is a welter easily so should test his whiskers. 300 for a possible 1k is a value bet in my book

Yeah, it's a big estate with a lot of natural swamp land so he can go out snake hunting on his canoe late at night. He also likes to sit on the veranda with a lamp on to attract interesting insects. I'd give that bit a wide berth, but each to their own. Ebo and Greg Elder are based out there as well and Greg's a good mate of his.

Buncey has confirmed some of the running order, Love on at 2:15 am, then Broner, Khan and Mayweather. Khan won't be in the ring until at least 3:30, looks like another late one tonight, sun will be up by the time we get the chance to get our heads down.

Probably been asked before but what time will the khan fight actually start (UK time)?

Will have to set an alarm for this one.

Watched it earlier. Collazo gave him a really good fight and that was still a good, fast and sharp version of Shane.

It's quite extraordinary how the line has shifted on this fight. People have been shovelling money on Collazo today. For good reason.

As it stands, Khan is best priced at 1/2.
Collazo is best priced at 2/1.

This is compared to Vic Chandler opening the market at 5/1 Collazo and something like 1/7 Khan.

Flabbergasting.

Turns out the GALA EVENING OF FREE MONEY attracted such a good turnout, the bookies are now balking.
I arks you though, there is still time to do the right thing and bet on Collazo. Covering several round bets is probably best value at this stage.

Paddy are still going 11/1 on Collazo rounds 7-12! Value city. If Khan lasts that long.
