Poor stoppage, but still Degale looked good. I would favour him over Groves now; George's confidence has taken a serious knock.
James comes across as such a tool though. To say Carl is a 'coward' is just fornicating laughable.
Still, I'd definitely like to see Froch-Degale. Another needle fight....

Unbelievable or depressingly believable, that stoppage was a disgrace. Surely, Howard Foster has to let an experienced fighter like Periban get to his feet before making an assessment. What was the hurry?

I agree it was premature. Maybe that wasn't clear from what I wrote. This logic justifies virtually every stoppage given that anyone can be badly hurt at any point in a fight.Maybe P would have been badly hurt if it carried on and the ref has to live with that.

This isn't the Groves of the first Froch fight. He isn't here tonight. Looks like an awkward fight for George, but I still think GG might land a big one any second.

Has Froch damaged Groves or is Froch on the fade and Groves wasn't all that special in the first place?
