Doctor would have stopped that anyway that was bad.

Mitchell tough b@5t4rd respect him more.

Credit to Linares will look out for his fights.

Decent showing from Mitchell. Apparently he was ahead on two of the three cards, the third being level.
Hope that's not the end for Kev.

Think Halling is bad?

Costello.on the radio described Linares as 'one if the hardest champions on the planet'

I thought it was a brave effort by Mitchell, but again just feel short at true world class

I take my hat off to Mitchell: he boxed out of his skin. Horrible luck with the cuts. I hope he carries on he's got a lot left.

Yep really enjoyed that: top class boxing from both men.

At least he now has a performance in a title fight that he can be proud of. No excuses, he put in a great performance and just came up short against a quality fighter. He still has plenty to offer.

Dunno why but in my head I read that post in Jim Watt's voice

Brave, brave showing from Mitchell, but it was a good call from Victor Loughlin,Kevin must have been hampered by an injury to his right arm/hand but still had success with the lead left hook, the swelling was horrendous and the cut as well plus the nose, but Linares is a class act who showed great speed in his combinations

Great fight again though

I think that's a little harsh with regards to your comment about KM coming up short. Take that vile injury away and he was still in the fight.

Burns would have beat this version then and he'd beat him now.

Probably a poor choice of words. I just mean that if that is the closest he comes to winning a world title he knows he gave it his all and it just wasn't to be on the night. I had him 2 points up going in to the 10th.

Why don't you take away all the rounds Linares won while you're at it.

That fight was odd, how many had Burns to stop Mitchell?

I didn't see it going that way. I was very impressed with Burns that night, thought it was the end of Mitchell too. At a decent level anyway.
