Yes, bang on. It was a tactical masterclass from Fury, always kept the distance and never, ever still. Wlad just couldn't get to him.

I'm actually surprised there aren't more people blaming Wlads age. Needless to say, that's bogus too. Folk were gushing over Wlads performance vs face first pulev. Still in his prime, they cried. Now someone who can actually fight back ...oops. Wlad wasn't counting on that.

Good post. I agree. I thought that Fury was much improved and super slick in his last fight with Chisora, but I didn't think he could do what he did. I thought he'd get hit with one of Wlad's piledriver jabs and suddenly he'd lose his confidence, like everybody else. By the way, where was that piledriver jab?

It's an absolute fantastic achievement! lets not forget the klit has been a champ 10 plus years and has devoured every opponent before Tyson came along. The fight wasn't great but the fact that Tyson has won, has to go down as one of the best wins ever by a British fighter!

I always liked klitschko brothers. (vitali by far)
And I wanted wlad to win in a very convincing style. But;

And the most accurate observation of the fight. And Wlad. Period.
Nothing to do with the age imo. Or very little.
Last nigt leads us to this conclusion:

He would have still lost it to Fury or someone "alike" him(size and stylewise), if it was fury instead of pulev on that night.
He simply doesn't have the tools and too coward to be hit.
...Maybe we could not blame him.
The size defines/determines the style.
He is one dimensional because he was never in need of anything else...So far.
This was the most embarrassing fight on wlad's resume.
Dull and clueless.
Simply exposed.
İn the possible rematch wlad will only have "the puncher's" chance.
He needs to become "the pulev" vs. himself on the very night they fought.

by the way, fury vs. lennox?
Lennox never faced someone like him also..

Fury almost did nothing, let alone fihgting back.
On the contrary, what pulev did was "fighting back" on that night.
İt was only the reach, and the jab and run style wlad wasn't counting on.
