Finally some honesty from you regarding the weight difference

Though you argued long and hard there would be 10 kg difference, that was never going to be the case.
6 or 10 who knows still a big advantage.
Maybe if Green stepped on a scale before the fight we would know. But he was never going to step on a scale and show what a massive weight difference there was.

Wow, you guys are still talking about this fight isn't there any other boxing happening in Oz right now? The rest of the world barely cared before the fight let alone after, neither has had any relevance for quite some time...

The fight has been a huge topic here. 1000s of posts. But it was nearly 2 weeks ago and quite frankly I'm over it.

There are big things brewing in the region though. Parker and Horn probably top the list and there are already threads in place about them. Feel free to contribute.

It is plain to see the referee has already turned Green away from Mundine - look at the placement of the referee's arm inside Green's, and as a result Green's back is to Mundine when he loads up and hits him from behind.
The only person that broke the rules was the man that's meant to uphold them, the ref! Classic hate mongering here by the way. I notice you didn't throw in there exactly what the referee was saying... to Green!
Watch the video and listen.

The judges had the same guy winning the fight as you did - Green.

You scored the fight to Green by 1 point.

The judge who scored it a draw had it only 1 point different to you.

The judge who had it to Green by 2 points had it only 1 point different to you.

The other judge had it wide. By came up with the same winner as you - Greem.

Under the circumstances you are hardly in any position to point the finger at the judges.
I watched a poor copy on you-tube. A judge scores a 10-10 round where a point was deducted and the referee fails to say break or stop punching resulting in a controversial punch and you think that's good.
Where did I say it was good?

You are the one who scored it only 1 point different to 2 of the 3 judges.

True but they're high profile and in the media a lot. I didn't bother watching this fight live but bet on it because I thought Green was a surer thing than Winx. Aussie forums have been bickering over Mundine-Green for over a decade. Expect it will continue to the decider in 2020.

there is no doubt its a complete dog shot. and the mundine huggers know it despite their denials.

green won the fight fair and square and fought the whole fight while concussed.

mundine and his corner know full well he did not win that fight he's just proving his complete lack of sportsmanship by crying like a baby about it and his huggers are proving they r just as big a bunch of sooks as he is, lol.

anyway mundine can now focus again on his journey to face Floyd Mayweather at the MGM Grand, pmsl.

The refereeing and scoring in this fight was abysmal.

NOT BAD FOR A CONCUSSED FIGHTER WIN THE NEXT THREE ROUND'S 2/3/4 ON ALL CARD'S       HE'S A LEGEND
That just adds to the "legend" of Danny Green Clive! Did you know that not only was he "concussed", but the punch knocked him "unconscious"... :brick:
To be honest and fair I think both are Aussie Boxing Legend's wouldn't it have been boring without both Champ's the last 17 year's or so that would have just about been the end of Aussie Boxing they are a credit to the this great sport :bag:

Hopefully we've seen the last of this pair of big noting cherrypickers.
It finally proved what most have believed for a long time.
Green is a plodder with limited ability & Mundine has the far superior boxing skills.

And finally, Mundine won the fight in a canter. :TU:

Green won the fight - get over it. Just because you finish a fight stronger and look fresher at the end means nothing. Score each round individually and green wins it. Both Green and Choc at their peak were world class boxers, at their optimum weights (Sup Middle & Light Heavy.) I respect both for what they have done, its a pity we probably didnt see the best out of them. Compubox, whilst i dont take these as the be all when it comes to scoring, highlights how inactive Mundine was at times.

I had Green winning too and I am over it. It is now just history book stuff and there are some interesting fights on the horizon that should be receiving more attention.

I don't know but if they did make the 4 mill each that's being tossed around it's great business. Kovalev got 2 mill against Ward and 1 mill against Hopkins and those fights meant something.

SEN radio conducted an interview tonight with Chairman of Professional Boxing and Combat Sports Victoria Bernie Balmer.

Balmer said he has watched the Green-Mundine fight and in his opinion "the result should stand". He said "something quite extraordinary would need to be presented at an appeal to have the result changed to a non contest".

Balmer went on to say the best Mundine could probably hope for was the instruction for a rematch.

With whom can appeal be lodged? ANBF SA can't order rematch, as it wasn't State title, neither can ANBF Ltd (OZ title governing body), because in the end it wasn't really Green's title defence due to 83kgs weight limit.

The head of the WA Combat Sports Authority thought Paul Briggs was fine to fight Green when they fought... Did you believe him?
