I suppose theres a chance DeGale can show Eubank Jr about levels and can old man him, DeGale cant stay still and lean on the ropes like he has in the past as that's what Eubank needs to find an opening, DeGale never done it in the Truax rematch so hopefully he doesn't do it here as i'd like to see him win here
My overriding feeling is though Eubank Jr will be right up for this and put in a career best win, he might be outfoxed early but as DeGale inevitably tires I cant see Eubank Jr letting the opportunity slip by and I have a hunch he'll force a stoppage with sheer volume, no doubt they'll be plenty uppercuts thrown by him

All I hope for is the Best DeGale to show up on the night, and make this the fan friendly fight it has the potential to be. I'm not fussed who wins, its only a fight for a fight's sake anyway.

Simply put for me it's a case of what DeGale has left,and imo what he's got left isn't enough to even beat Eubank Jnr at this stage,who if nothing else sets a pace that degale,who likes to chill on the ropes will struggle with....Jnr couldn't be getting chunky at a better time
Few year back chunky wouldlve took Jnr to school,but this is boxing,fighters decline& become faded versions of themselves & young fighters get the opportunity to beat them

I think he will. The lay on the ropes with zero head movement tactic won’t work here.
I rate Eubank a level above Truax, and Truax couldn’t miss.
Put a fork in chunky he’s done.

Has DeGale ever struggled making weight?
I don't like the look of him, maybe hasn't lost the weight well, I will be interested to see how he looks on the scales.

Lots of people are calling this on the basis of potentially how much Degale has left and I'm no different because we all know what Eubank brings and its mostly work rate, stamina, heart etc. I voted Chunky on points but am not sure I like his body language and general demeanour the last week or two, he seems like a man who knows his days are numbered and is hoping for one last big performance. If he's trained right and done the weight properly though (things which you'd expect from a seasoned pro) and doesn't take too much time off during the fight I think he could comfortably outbox Eubank similar to how Groves did.
I also look at the fact he is a genuine super-middle whilst Junior is a career 160 pounder and that is in Degales favour too, he's taken heavy shots from the likes of Badou Jack and come through so unless his legs are wobbly and his chin is suddenly failing he should come through this one still standing. I'm not a betting man at all but if I had to put money on this one I'd edge it towards Degale, although if I'm honest that may be more to do with Eubank coming up short in previous attempts at stepping up a level vs Saunders and Groves than my belief in James.

You'd think DeGale still has enough left to get a win,in terms of boxing skills & the fact he is a seasoned pro at least,but just can't see him being able to assert himself enough to keep Jnr honest & from trying to knock him all over the place all night

Could be a premature stoppage. DeGale sits on the ropes, Eubank lands 100 arm shots in a row, ref jumps in early, DeGale not hurt at all

Really hope DeGale can find some form and get the job done tomorrow night but if the Truax fights are anything to go by then it could be a tough evening for him. Anywhere near his best and he wins handsomely but those days look to have been and gone & he will most likely have to work hard every round against a willing but obviously flawed Eubank Jr.
As previously said it really depends on which DeGale turns up/what he has left in the tank, would be a $hite way for a decorated fighter to go out but time waits for no one.
