I'd say Joyce/Stiverne holds more importance to this top 15 than Kownacki/Washington, unless Washington wins. Similar to Ortiz v Hammer, unless Hammer wins, i don;t see it changing anything for me. This could get complicated on deciding what is even worth a vote.
Oh yeah, I forgot about Joyce/Stiverne. I'm still not even sure if Stiverne is even relevant as a win.

He's not. but if joyce looks bad in beating him, it would make a difference to me in the ratings.

For me it was more that beating Washington does nothing for Kownacki's rating as it's lower competition than his best win whereas Stiverne is, on paper, a better win than some of the guys around the 15 threshold have.

Stiverne wouldn't be able to beat Washington today. But I get what you are saying.

I think "on paper" says it Josh.
This list is from fight fans based on what they have seen from the fighters (well I hope it is) and not based on records. Stiverne is on paper fairly decent, but he just does not meet the eye test. Sure, Wilder went the distance the first time, though that was an overly cautious Wilder intent on getting the belt in his first big fight. We all saw what the confident Wilder did to Stiverne the second time around, and to me at least, that was the eye test regarding Stiverne. And he failed it big time. So, getting back to Stiverne/Joyce- even a first round KO by Joyce, dosent really raise my view on Joyce's standings on my list.

My point is what if: Joyce looks terrible against a has-been Stiverne, and/or Kownacki loses to Washington. Those events would move the rankings for me.

Is the paper aware that Stiverne threw 4 punches and landed 0 against Wilder?

The paper has a better chin than Stiverne in that fight

A convincing win by Kownacki might move him up a place, a loss probably 2 down. It's a lot of work for Daggie. Maybe after Kownacki/Washington and Ortiz/Hammer?
the voting will take place after every meaningful fight. the voting on Jennings vs Rivas is on in this thread viewtopic.php?f=22&t=227894 and will last until the Kownacki vs Washington fight. voting on Kownacki vs Washington will start immediately after the fight.

from time to time there will be a separate topic where significant fights between unranked fighters will be voted on

So after kownacki/Washington if we don't rate either, do we offer whom we would replace them with? I had neither in my top 15 and I'm hard pressed for a scenario to change that.

yes, of course, if there is a free spot, i will make a separated topic, i think it would look like this:

everyone has to mention 3 (or maybe 5?) fighters:

1. - 3 points
2. - 2 points
3. - 1 point

So my vote would just be kiwnacki out, Washington out? I don't mention whom I want in.

yeah and then, next week, there will be a separate topic on who should take the vacant spot (of course if Kownacki will get removed from the list, which i doubt)
