looks more like he did for the first fight, at a slim 268

my guess is he weighs somewhere around 265. considering his biggest win came around 268, he may think his weight should hover around that mark id guess

Andy said he weighed 257lbs about ten days ago. He expects to be weighing in the region of 255lbs this weekend.

10lbs only represents 3% of Andy's body weight, so I think that he'll look similar to photos taken when he was 265lbs, regardless as to whether he actually weighed 255lbs or 275lbs.... if you know what I mean.
Anything in the 250s would be a good progress for him given what he weighed in AJ 2. When he was 255 vs Parker he still ran outta gas and had a lot of excess weight, so he should try to keep dropping that flab and get into the 240s for his next one after this.

Andy definitely needs to get down to 230lbs, but has to do it VERY SLOWLY, because losing too much weight too quickly causes muscle atrophy.

It'll make him a weaker fighter.

He needs to actually forget about his weight an instead focus on training hard, getting plenty of rest and sleep, as well as eating a healthy diet.

If he can do those three simple things, day-after-day, to the point it's part of his permanent ongoing lifestyle, then he'll lose weight in a healthy manner. And as long as he maintains this lifestyle, then he shouldn't regain it either. But this process takes time and requires discipline.

If Andy did get down to 230lbs though, he'll always look a bit tubby (a bit like Tyson Fury does), because of skin elasticity. His skin won't snap back to its original shape.

So if Andy weighs around the 240 to 245lbs mark for his next outing, then we'll know he's living the right sort of lifestyle.

What is with Arreola's career low weight? Sick? On drugs? Or in the best shape of his life? :maybe:

Not for me. Parker never excites me and the matchup isn't PPV worthy and the entire card sucks. Other than that...

Arreola lost much muscle, at 228 still he looks fat as before with pencil arms and neck. Arreola that fought vitali klitchko was menacing.

He was. Credit to his resilience. Maybe boxing is all he knows but he’s still putting in the work.

All the warning signs are there for chris

40 y/o
Fought long amateur and pro career
Decreased punch resistance
Long layoff as an old fighter
Career low weight late in career

I dont expect andy to guns guns blazing. If he did it would be a short night. I expect him to hurt chris early and often. Corner stoppage in

I saw odds listed at 23-1.

That's bizarre, isn't it? I could see 8-1 or something.

True, and how else are they going to entice folks to put some money down on Arreola?

Personally I think 23 - 1 is still a little mean.

Aren't we expecting the new improved Andy Ruiz?
