At the end of the day , the aim in boxing is to either ko , your opponent OR win on points ,, Now the way to win on points is to hit your opponent with more scoring shots than he hits you with ,, and if you run or circle , does'nt matter if he only hits you 3 times a rnd but you hit him 6 you win ,,,,,,,, I personaly like to see boxers move and not get hit , but the key issue is are they landing Punches , or are they landing EFFECTIVE punches with the weight of the shoulder behind the punch .
Lot of runners do not land effective punches , therefore they stink the place out ,, but if there clear EFFECTIVE PUNCHES , it can look like poetry in motion ,, Its up to the judges to sort it out by knowing what too and what not to score ,

Very good from Sunny tonight. He boxed smart and boxed the way he had to to get the win, it'd be stupid to go toe to toe with someone who is a bigger puncher than you.
I do think his punch power, or lack of, will stop him from being a really elite fighter and separate himself from other world class fighters.

smith looks a good boxer but he lets that left drop, williamson looks powerfull and did well to turn around a fight i thought he was losing
Kieran’s one of my best mates was really sad to see this. Very dedicated fighter. Heavy KO.

Tough one re conlan. That guy scalped tj and Joyce before so was no mug. Plus a really awkward difficult guy to look good against.
I still feel a true elite like a young Frampton would have stopped him. Don’t think conlan is getting beyond European.

Number 1 flyweight in the world?
Really strange division TBH, there isn't anyone who is CLEARLY above anyone else. Really not much to differentiate Dalakian, Nakatani, Martinez and Edwards.
Dalakian has had a fornicating AWFUL reign though 4 low level defenses, that mean absolutely nothing
Martinez has notched 2 defenses, with the one against Harris being a very good one
Nakatani won the title last year (supposed to defend against Acosta in a mandatory next)
Sunny's win over Mthalane is one that will look REALLY good, but it could be like Dalakian's Vs Viloria, a case of right place right time
Yeah - I think Sunny boxed great last night but it was a good piece of matchmaking as Mthalane didn’t have what he did 2/3 years ago - his timing wasn’t there and he wasn’t able to cut the ring off like he has in the past. A combination of inactivity and age catching up with him.
I’d love to see Edwards against Martinez. It would be interesting to see if Sunny can go one better than Charlie and cope with Martinez’s pressure.

Class performance by Sunny.
Sure he isn’t a puncher, but he can really box off the back foot and full credit to him. Some engine on him too.

Good box and move performance from Sunny. He also took the odd solid punch from the experienced champion and never wavered from his game plan.
Unfortunately, as skilled and effective as Sunny is, he completely lacks the quality of being able to thrill a crowd.
He needs the very best opponents that force him into a good fight à la Martinez (who destroyed his brother, so great selling angle).
Unfortunately again, W@rren has a poor record of delivering the best opponents for his world champions.
