Defo. He's carrying his mate. People who paid for this must have more money than sense.

Ha well when you say it like that… But a hollow victory it would have been for Lerena. Hardly proof of anything.
How would it have been hollow? Dubois was telling Shane he wanted to quit. That's where his mindset was at the time. The early bell had a huge effect there. He also went down by himself without being punched. That's a stoppage for me.
You're clearly happy with bad reffing and corruption as long as it favours the Brit. Just be honest about that. Don't try to present yourself as an unbiased guy.
I get that you called it for Lerena and are obviously gutted at how it played out.
But of course it would have been a hollow victory. Was Dubois on the verge of quitting because of Lerena’s skill and power, or was it the ankle injury? It clearly matters.
It doesn't matter. What matters is that the rules are enforced fairly. Corruption in favour of the Brit is unacceptable and that's what happened. End of story. You're the type of guy who will complain about corruption in other countries but have no complaints when a Brit benefits from it.
I don't care what kind of victory you want to label it as, hollow or whatever. That's just a smokescreen for accepting the corruption. It was corrupt what when on. Simple as.

if the wba has a 3 kd rule , like their website suggests, that absolutely shouldve been stopped. picking and choosing when to apply it or not will just lead to it being weaponized against the b side boxer
i think the wba rules only dont apply in unification fightss but this wasnt one

Got to worry for Dereck's health after he retires. Can't fault his heart but has taken far too many beatings.

Some body-shots here and there by Chisora, at least he is doing a bit more than Dillian did.

Agreed. Sadly rules only apply if they benefit the A side

I thought you fought under bbboc rules not sanctioning body rules. Hard to know what happens when there different….
If it should of been a 3 knockdown stop then they should reverse the result.

the wba title was on the line, so the wba rules should be enforced or they are totally pointless

You don’t know what type of guy I am or what I complain about.
I’m looking on the bright side here. Lerena winning by Dubois quitting from an ankle injury, would have been seriously anti climactic and proof of very little in terms of what Lerena can actually do. At least what we saw in the end was something far more conclusive.
I hope you didn’t bet big on Kevin.
