The other Josh, of the Padley variety, put on a really positive performance brushing aside his opponent to claim the European title.

Padley set out his stall almost immediately and let go plenty of solid punches.

I hope Padley enjoys more success with his new acquired EBU title.

I was at the fight tonight and from where I was sat Kelly won easily.
Bakrams distance and timing was shocking, he was nowhere near Kelly in most of the exchanges

I get the Kelly “running” theme but he boxed to the ethos of the game
Hit and not get hit

Great performance by Kelly

Amazing how people are criticizing him for running, yet when the yank fighters do the same thing -- run all fight and just try and knick rounds by landing a couple more than their opponent, everybody licks their chocolate starfish and gushes about how good they are.

I had a few people round so only caught glimpses of the main event in the end. It certainly didn’t seem like Kelly was winning the fight every time I looked up, but good luck to him he must have done well.

Plus Taylah (sic) was talking a lot about how she "struggles with movers" and "Obviously I've gotta stay out of the way"

Sean - what is your podcast ? 'bout time I listened/like/subscribed and whatnot...
Hello mate. I don’t have a podcast myself, I don’t do social media much. I use LinkedIn for work as I write boring stuff about housing. I go on Porkys Corner most weeks, it’s his channel but he’s kind enough to let me on. There is a thread on here called Porkys Corner I post some of the output on there when I’m on it just in case anyone is interested. I’ve no aim to ever do one myself I’m just good friends with Porky and he’s been really good to me especially while I’ve been ill etc and lets me on regularly which I really enjoy.
I'll like the ones you're on :salut:
Cheers mate

Junior was knocking a lot of blokes out in his domestic run though!
True. Kelly made Witter look like Gatti last night.

Poor Junior was frozen out after his performance against Judah yet Kelly last night was much, much worse. He spent most of the fight running around outside of punching range.

A stricter ref wouldnt have let him get away with that. Worst performance since the Archie Sharpe nightmare last year.

Witter had some good performance like against Battaglia, Hammond and Lauri, the ndou fight was forgettable as was his kotelnik win. He was his own worst enemy. If you were a 140 fighter junior could make you look a pudendum and potentially knock you out for not much money. Kelly needs the right sort of fight to shine I think. Wouldn't be shocked if they try and entice Benn

It would definitely be a winnable fight for Kelly, but the really troubling thought would be Benn winning the IBF belt. :o
