I think the list needs an over haul to be honest. Right through 1-10

Re: Australian P4P list

by The Skull
1. Vic Darchinyan
2. Sakio Bika
3. Daniel Geale
4. Anthony Mundine
5. Michael Katsidis
6. Sam Soliman
7. Lenny Zappy
8. Kali Meehan
9. Lovemore N'dou
10. Gairy St. Clair

If Mundine is going to keep on fighting bums then he should not be in the top 3.
Dib out of the 10 because he should not have won the IBO title and lost the WBO title fight (and he bites)
Gairy in because this guy is a quality boxer but gets robbed more times than a Western Sydney ATM - and you never hear him complain!!!

I was going to say if someone else wants to take over that is fine but I'm not rejigging the whole list after every few fights...

agree. Inactivity should be the only thing that can change a boxers position without fighting.

number 1 i think everyone would agree on vic no brainer
2-5 will be a few arguements in order but most should agree these 4
mundine
katsidis
bika
geale
does green get automatic selection or do we wait till first fight
dib and zappa maybe dib ahead of zappa as he won title and has more experience
pittman
meehan not sure if he represents aus but only hw worth considering however not on anbf list
would like to see how kickett comes back before including him
10 open for suggestions

my 10
1 vic darchinyan
2 mundine
3 katsidis
4 bika
5 geale
6 pittman
7 green
8 dib
9 zappa
10 vacant

i think before order we should agree on the 10 fighters first

2. Anthony Mundine
3. Micheal Katsidis
4. Daniel Geale
5. Sakio Bika
6. Billy Dib
7. Lenny Zappa
8. Sam Soliman
9. Kali Meehan
10...really dunno, few names i wanna throw in there such as Asiku, Kickett, N'dou ect but dunno who deserves atm

green retired a champ and has only been out of the ring 6 months longer

1. Vic Darchinyan
2. Micheal Katsidis (has fought several world class opponents and rocked them)
3. Anthony Mundine (he was rocked by world class opponents)
4. Daniel Geale
5. Sakio Bika
6. Lenny Zappa
7. Billy Dib
8. Sam Soliman
9. Kali Meehan
10. Willie Kickett (although my faith is wearing thin)

1 Vic
2 Bika
3 Katsidis
4 Mundine
5 Geale
6 Lenny
7 Dib
8 Ometoso
9 Dawson
10 Medley/Pittman

I thought about it for a while 5 mins  , I sort of made my list of the fights over the past 12 months. Soliman should be there but hasnt fought enough neither has Green.
I put guys like Medley and Pittman in as they shouldnt be penalised for stepping up against the top fighters in there divisions and losing.

the only reason i put lenny down so far on my list is he hasnt had any overseas experience as the others did
pittman despite losing did put up a credible effort in his world title shot
medley i think should be ahead of dawson
so no hw
ben why do u think bika should be ahead of mundine
i can understand katsidis but bika has only defeated soliman and manfredo jr who isnt a world beater
although i think lenny is good and i understand he totally dominated st clair but when kickett beat him he only cracked top 10
i think lenny will be that high but he needs one more scalp
only reason is to see what his plans are and if he goes up in class
eg kickett went backwards and fought a thai and his chin looked suspect after his fight with st clair

I only went on the last year or so, When was Mundines last big win, I mean you have to have a cut off somewhere. Otherwise we would be rating Fenech as the number 1 after his win over Nelson.
