He really has every reason in the world to wait, but like saad said, Mike is warrior!Tomasino wrote:He should wait! He's got balls that's for sure. He likely gets less than half the money for Romero

Re: MMA
Kudos to Bisping! Never thought he'd do that. I'm about over GSP at this point anyhow.
I'm kinda thinking GSP wants to come back for a onesy. He feels he can beat Bisping, get a title for a second time, and make some bank, then jet. And while Bisping is telling the truth, most likely, he is posturing a bit as well letting GSP know that his so called "easy title shot" may disappear, leaving Georges possibly facing Romero instead (which I don't think he has any intention of ever doing). Stylistically, Romero is an absolute nightmare for GSP.

He's definitely brave and a warrior, but I don't think he's that stupid.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:No reason to doubt him, he's never been one to hide.Asterix wrote:Do you think he's serious, though? Rampage/King Mo was horrid. I don't even know who won, I'm assuming King Mo. I turned it off at the final bell.

After weighing in at 250+ and putting in that awful of a performance, I think it's retirement time for Rampage.

Robbie Lawler/Donald Cerrone set for UFC 213.
Nice match-up. I would say Lawler, but you can't count Cerrone out at WW right now. Should be a great fight!

Re: MMA
DC is a fraud, how can u weigh 206+ then less than 5 mins later come back in and weigh 205? Av a look at the weigh in,he puts pressure on the towel that they are holding up making him lift abit of weight off the scales, fckin fraud i hope rumble knocks this cheat out

Re: MMA
DC is short for the weight class. Anthony towers over him. Weird to think he was so dominate at HW. He looked to have quite a lot of baggage around his mid-section. Yet, his face looked very drawn. I like both of these guys, but would like to see Rumble take this one.
Re: MMA
I'll be cheering for Rumble as well.
That weigh in seems dodgy as fornicate though. DC weighs 206.2 comes back a couple of mins later and weighs 205 on the dot. Rumble weighs exactly 203.8, I think it's possible they calibrated the scales to be 1.2lbs lighter. I mean had Rumble ever actually come in underweight?

Re: MMA
This was the preferable outcome whether DC cheated or not for Rumble. If DC missed weight, Rumble doesn't get a title fight. He then takes a major hit financially because it's not a title fight.
I hate that DC has appeared to do what he did though but I am glad that Rumble is getting a title fight.

If DC missed weight the title is stripped from him,its still a title fight but only for rumble,DC would of lost the titlep4p1 wrote:This was the preferable outcome whether DC cheated or not for Rumble. No it's not. That's not how it works in the UFC.thechump wrote:If DC missed weight the title is stripped from him,its still a title fight but only for rumble,DC would of lost the titlep4p1 wrote:This was the preferable outcome whether DC cheated or not for Rumble. Just looking at the rest of the card didnt realise Alves vs Cote was on the undercard. Cant even remember the last time i watched Alves fight. I had almost forgotten about him.
Weidman vs Mousasi could be interesting too. Could be a decent night of fights ahead

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol at a guy making a video to confirm that pressing down a towel will indeed make the scale read lighter. Thank you Captain Obvious!!!!!!!!!!!p4p1 wrote:https://mobile.twitter.com/hunt5588/sta ... 2783163392

Re: MMA
Yes it does,i watched an interview with dana white and those were his words,he said he is ruled by the commission not the other way round so if the commission says DC made weight then he made weight he also said if DC didnt make weight its a title fight only for rumble but not for DC and the same if rumble didnt make weightp4p1 wrote:No it's not. Re: MMA
That's not the precedent set. I'm wracking my brain for the fight but I can't remember who it was but the title holder did not make weight and the fight became a non-title bout. Worthless post I know since I can't remember who it was, but that has been the way the UFC has done it in the past.thechump wrote:Yes it does,i watched an interview with dana white and those were his words,he said he is ruled by the commission not the other way round so if the commission says DC made weight then he made weight he also said if DC didnt make weight its a title fight only for rumble but not for DC and the same if rumble didnt make weightp4p1 wrote:No it's not. On a different note, DC looked terrible at the weigh in. I'm predicting it now, Rumble knocks him cold early in the second round
