Separately, can anyone see Barker/Sturm NOT going 12?

No, but boxing serves up some weird results. I doubts many thought Camacho would stop Leonard.
Anyway that fight will be one of the tensest fights ever for R.Blowe... Imagine the tension at NOT wanting any other result but a distance fight.... That will feel weird

Put a bet on sturm barker not to go the distance just incase Riddick.
That way you will win whatever happens. Best to spread the risk and guarantee a win. That fight next week could end with a cut or an injury which would be awful luck.

Talking about tense, I had Froch stoppage to round off a £5k accumulator win last week, watching on a shitty stream at Heathrow airport. I nearly shat my pants several times that night, the tension was intolerable. First the Groves knockdown then rounds and rounds of Groves battering him, then stream down, then stream returned to there suddenly being people in the ring and me not knowing who won for a very long minute or so.

You know this didn't even occur to me, so thanks for mentioning
I imagine I'll only put a hedge down to cover my original stake as I think there's too much upside in the distance result.

No problem matey. I'm never usually in such a fortunate position to do this but it's sensible just incase. Better than having nothing

Think it was 12/1 mate. Funny thing, I accidentally put 5 times the stake on it I meant to because I somehow ended up with 5 lines in the accumulator. Hagler, do you know what this '5 lines' business means for my accumulator as opposed to an accumulator of five with one line? I can't seem to find out anywhere.
Bet Placed At 29/11/2013
Bet Type Accumulator (4)
Stake Per Line £23.00
Number Of Lines 5
Total Stake Paid £115.00[/quote]
It seems you have done five 4fourfold bets rather than 1 fivefold bet.
I presume you were maent to put one bet on the five bets you mention.
What it seems you have done is done 5 seperate bets of 4.....so if one lost you would still get paid.
If the above is true then your first bet has already won.
If Barker/Sturm goes the distance then your 4 other bets will come in.
Hope that makes sense and good luck with the last leg.
ps. all the above is based on me reading your bet correctly.

It should go the distance but if Geale can hurt barker to the body then so can sturm plus Felix was stopped by that old Spanish dude a few years ago so although unlikely far from impossible

That's my only worry, if Felix targets the body. I actually fancy Barker quite large in this as Sturm has seen his best years behind him. Fitness will be key for Barker to pull it off but I think he can do it probably wide on points as Felix can take a decent shot.

Thanks but i don't think it is that as I haven't been paid anything yet.

You wouldnt be paid bet as all bets would be settled on the last leg.....could still be wrong though:)
Judging by your post thats the only explantion I can come up with.
Way I see it you made five selections but you only have the number 4 with your accumalators.
Anyway for what its worth I hope the last leg comes in regardless
Incidentally if you wanted to lay your stake off 50 notes on Ladbrokes 12/5 on it not going the distance covers your stake with a little profit if it went tits up.
Good luck dude

you've definitely placed 5 four timers there mate, as said before the one that has already won wouldn't have been settled yet because they were all placed together. best of luck getting the other four up

Thinking of having a cheeky bet on the draw for barker v sturm. 20-1 on billy hill. Wont be easy for barker to get a clear decision out there and murray got done over out there before so you never know

£50 on Rigo, Alexander, Butler, Smith and Matthews if they have odds for them should get evens for that.

I'm on a double with boyles. Alexander points and sturm/barker to go full 12 at 2.15

So is it a case of the return being £115 x 12 (the accumulator for the five was around 12/1) or is it a different calculation?
I did a hedge on it not going the distance too.
Thanks

There will be different odds for each one e.g:
£23 on A, B, C, D to come in @ 4/1
£23 on B, C, D, E to come in @ 5/1
etc, etc

7/2 Ormond against Matthews, seems huge, got this as a very close fight, got to play at that price for me.

I don't know much about Courtney Fry other than he was a good amateur and considered a prospect at one point but seems to have done absolutely nothing in the pro ranks. Does Fry have a better chance of beating Enzo than the 9/2 odds suggest? Seems anyone can beat Enzo these days?

I'm on the same mate. Ormond is in Derrys face all night long. Price is too good to ignore.

Over/under rounds as Barker v Sturm I think will go 12 I want to back 11 rounds or over instead of either fighter wins on points. I just want to know if over 11 rounds wins if it goes to points? (Worried about the draw)

If I understand your question correctly, then you would want to back the +10.5 rounds. That would cover you for any result provided they start the 11th round.

I ain't betting again this year, but if I was, I'd be lumping some cash on Paul Malignaggi on points.
