Well this is my last bet of the year so ive gone hard.
Yet another weekend of great boxing - Darren Barker v Felix Sturm and Pauli Malignaggi v Zab Judah heading up the bill on both sides of the pond.
After two weeks of winning a small return on our bets we've decided to risk a bit to get a lot this time and predicted more fight outcomes over a total of 8 fights.
I've gone for:
Liam Smith v Mark Thompson - Smith fight outright
Austin Trout v Erislandy Lara - Trout fight outright
Devon Alexander v Shawn Porter - Alexander fight outright
Zab Judah v Paulie Malignaggi - Malignaggi on Pts
Paul Butler v Ruben Montoya - Butler in Rnds 1-12 (any method)
Felix Sturm v Darren Barker - Barker on Pts
Krzysztof Wlodarczyk v Giacobbe Fragomeni - Wlodarczyk in Rnds 1-12 (any method)
Guillermo Rigondeaux v Joseph Agbeko - Rigondeaux Wins in Rnds 8-12 or Pts
Odds on the 8 fold 45.79/1, however i've bet on the 6 fold, 7 fold and a cheeky fiver on the full house (8 fold)
Here's wishing you all a bumper December!!!!!

Vetyeka was priced at 6/1 earlier in the week to defeat Chris John...sorry but they are ridiculously nice odds. Put that in a patent with Sosa (2.25) and Taliwe (2.6).

What price is Trout? I remember seeing this priced up to be on the Mayweather Canelo card and he was around evens which i was looking forward to getting stuck into, anything around that would be enticing just before chrimbo

I'm staying well away from the Paulie/Zab fight and the result either way for Barker/Sturm, just need that one to go the distance for my accumulator to come off.
Nothing else really interests me, so I guess I'm done for the year. It's been an insane two or three weeks

(assuming this one comes off)
One thing...anyone think Courtney Fry has a better chance against Enzo than his 9/2 suggests???? Never seen Fry...

4/5. It may have been yourself who mentioned this fight when it was supposed to happen a while ago

I checked the results this morning and when I saw the malignaggi points win and the rigondeux win I thought I was quids in on the 6 fold I had on only to find out trout and Alexander both got schooled. bugger!

So my internet was down all weekend so I had to get someone to text the result to me. Couldn't believe it when I found out Barker/Sturm went two rounds and was very relieved to have hedged, but now I check the Ladbrokes account and I am at least a couple of hundred up still, thanks to that misclick weird accumulator I put on which appeared to allow me one loss out of five. With the original accumulators I meant to put on all containing the Barker/Sturm distance result I would have lost, So overall

4/6 either fighter wins on points is a safer bet.

I wouldn't be so sure. Looking at bundu record he has been taking out a lot of decent opponents and purdy is a banger.

I think Purdy has a good chin and I doubt Purdy will take him out.

First boxing bet of the new year is Rances Barthelemy to beat Argenis Mendez tonight at 15/8. This is a pick'em fight and I thought the odds would be a lot closer than they are.

I'm giving myself £200 for the year and that's it. I'm determined to turn a profit this year. I would have last year if it wasn't for one silly little bet.

Thanks mate. Didnt expect the Cuban to win in that fashion but I'll take it.

Out of interest does anyone have or had any long term bets such as someone to win a world title like from the start of their career?

Sometimes they are offered as specials
For example Joshua to win a world title -

Otherwise I guess you would ring up the bookies and ask for odds.
