After Carl Framptons 3rd or 4th fight I contacted my bookies asking what sort of odds I'd get on him winning a World Title in the next 5 years. I got odds of 25/1 that he would win a WBA, WBC or IBF title by the end of 2014. It's going to be a squeaky bum year. Have €25 riding on it.

I done a similar thing with Andy Lee after he lost to Vera but his time expired at the end of 2012. At least he gave me some value at 50/1 with the Chavez title fight.

I have asked on chat on sky bet and they said due to the titles/weights they wouldn't consider it for Joshua, Smith or Campbell, but I have asked about only the big 4 belts no reply as of yet.

You could have backed Chavez which would have in effect cashed you out.

Sorry, I get what Mickey is saying now. I was on a beach in the backarse of Cambodian nowhere the 2 weeks prior to the fight and hedging on Chavez was the last thing on my mind!

I got him left for a double I did along with Froch KO against Groves, it was a treble with Alexander to beat Khan. Does anyone think Bute will win? I put £100 on and think I would only win £300, cant decide if I should put £50 on Bute.

Bute and Pascal are both a bit worn now, but i'd still say Pascal has more left

First proper bet of the year for me. Selby has opened at 21/10 to stop Rendall. Get on it.

Bute points also looks decent.

BetFair and it's 20/21 not 21/20 as I stated.

Never mind thought it was a bit too good to be true, while I'm on I have placed a long time bet on Joshua to win a world title before Jan 2017 and Jan 2020

Prices are 6/1 and 7/2 with Laddies, just think they are crazy prices had a decent bet on each, cant see anyway he does not get a fight for the title especially after Wlad has gone in about 18 months and if he keeps progressing he will likely be favourite or very short against most heavies around today by that time, I should be able to lay off if I want with a tidy profit.

Best laid plans and all that

First bet of the year for me and I've got a hundred sheets on Pascal points or technical decision. £433.33 back tomorrow. If it doesn't win, I'll be betting tenners for the next 6 months.

Alvarez is a lock. Perez might not be mentally there after his last fight, it's a long shot, but you never know.

I'm gonna put the hundred back in my bank and use the rest to bet with for the rest of the year. I will redeem myself after my moment of madness last year.
