The fight's not happening on April 29th. Tyson looks deranged at the minute and should be in serious training instead of making stupid videos. He’s not mentally or physically ready.

That's how it looks like indeed. I wonder, what "I'm no longer a Fury fun" group will say in a case of Tyson's win, especially if it's spectacular.
It's nothing alike. Usyk has agreed to everything, 70-30 split in Fury's favour, and is now demanding it's on the proposed date with neutral judges and ref. Team Fury aren't signing off on that. It seems like Fury is scared to fight without crooked judges and a hometown ref. In the meantime Usyk has a mandatory if Fury pussies out of the proposed date so he needs to set a deadline so he can arrange that fight.
“Usyk has agreed to everything”.
He tweeted yesterday that he has just sent “points of agreement”.
How have you managed to read these points that he has just sent?
Krassyuk has talked about hometown refs and judges being a deal breaker

Fury recently said all the insta vids which most - even you Mick - had convinced fans Fury was ducking and lost the plot, was in fact an ingenious negotiating trick and PR stunt to sell tickets (to an as yes unconfirmed fight where tickets aren't even advertised or on sale yet).

Mick, question for you simply because your the most sensible Fury fan here. If this is true, that it's Fury's genius and skill at amateur psychology, and just a negotiating and ticket selling ploy.
Do you think it's been handled well by Fury given social media is at least 90% negative towards Fury now??

This fight just has to happen on 29 April. If it doesn’t the ABC Orgs will start to enforce the mandatories. Will be a real loss if the Undisputed doesn’t happen.

It’s worth noting that in January, Usyk turns 37, and in August, Fury turns 35. It seems very short-sighted in the Fury camp to swerve this fight. After 2023 it’s fairly likely to lose a huge amount of value when ageing/loses catch up with both fighters. They literally could go to losing every fight by stoppage before you know it!

It's honestly embarrassing how you are this desperately clutching at straws.

Usyk: I'm cool with the Saudis, Belly, sign the deal - I already have.
Fury: No, midget, I want a deal worth the total GDP of Germany, so screw you, I'm dragging you away from your deal!
Usyk: Fine.
BigDoofus:

Usyk: So, I'm cool to fight wherever.
Fury: You will fight in my backyard, middleweight, with my judges, my referee, my venue, my promoter, in front of my crowd!
Usyk: Fine.
BigDoofus:

Usyk: So, if it's in your backyard with all the odds stacked against me, plus since you screwed up my Saudi deal, I want 50/50.
Fury: No, midget!
Usyk: Fine.
BigDoofus:

Usyk: So, you don't want 50/50 even though it's as fair as it comes. How about 60/40 with 60 going to the winner?
Fury: No, middleweight!
Usyk: Fine.
BigDoofus:

Usyk: So, what do you have in mind?
Fury: 70 for me, 30 for you - you know, this is the absolute bare minimum any mandatory can get from WBC - this is what I offer, midget, take it or leave it!
Usyk: Fine.
BigDoofus:

Usyk:
Fury: Hey, middleweight, you remember that rematch clause that I wanted in the first place?
Usyk: Yeah.
Fury: Now it's off the table too, if you don't agree, the fight is off, midget!
Usyk: You mean... You want to cancel that rematch clause that you wanted in the first place when it still looked like we would fight in Saudi, but now since we are going to fight in your backyard, this rematch clause was my guarantee that even if a dubious decision goes your way in your backyard, I would still have a chance to win a fight in neutral territory? That rematch clause?
Fury: Yes, fornicating midget, that one exactly - it's off, hah! What do you say to that?
Usyk: Fine.
BigDoofus:

Usyk: Okay, Belly, I was fine with you dragging away from my Saudi deal. I was fine you wanting me to fight you in your backyard. I was fine you denying me a 50/50 deal. I was fine with you denying a 60/40 with the 60 going to the winner deal. I was fine with your disgusting, disgraceful and disrespectful lowball offer of 30. I even accepted you cancelling that rematch which would have meant a fair shot for me if the first fight goes your way in the UK due to boxing corruption. But no more dicking around, okay? Sign the contract already, this is the end of the road, just sign it already, you have until the end of the week.
BigDoofus: OH MY GOD THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE THE MIDDLEWEIGHT IS MOVING THE GOALPOSTS, IF THE FIGHT IS FALLING THROUGH IT'S ALL ON HIM, WHAT OUTRAGEOUS DEMANDS AND ATTITUDE! :witzend: :witzend: :witzend:

Exactly. Joshua may well look awful against Franklin and retire. And Franklin will never be worth the value of Joshua to Fury in a million years. But on the flip side I’d imagine Fury already has enough money to live 100 lifetimes in Morecambe!

It depends. If more people buy the fight to watch him lose, he'll sell more and it'll be a success. So in that sense it will have worked

That was asked for Mick to answer - thanks for your thoughts on it, but I wanted it from the only die-hard Fury fan on here that the majority, including myself, actually have some respect for.
Its disappointing he has chosen to ignore it - but i guess that answers my question by default.

A fight with Usyk for all the belts didn`t need any theatricals to sell because its that big. We were even assured 100% it would be 100% pro Fury crowd cheering him on at Wembley ... apparently the Gypsy/travellers community would all be in attendance. So why would Fury need to make himself look a mug and start alienating his fan base?

Fury is an attention seeking whore - thats not news to anyone. He has books for sale and always keen to get a TV or radio appearance ... to suggest he intentionally turns himself into the bad-guy to sell the fight is nonsensical; he craves adoration too much ... my opinion is that his emotions have swamped him and he is in crisis.

Does anybody really care about all the ABCs though. These two are widely regarded as the top2 HWs in the world - if some sanctioning body clown orders Usyk to fight Dubois instead that won’t change the public’s perception of Fury v Usyk.

This fight has midsummer blockbuster written all over it, no need to hurry things through for April 29th.

If Fury signed for April 29th then we could have had the rematch done and dusted by midsummer too. Instead we have Fury seemingly looking for an easy defence and stringing Usyk along to sell it.
