I am exactly the same. I have tried to avoid results before, but can not go ten minutes without looking up the result myself.

The thing I find funny - people will try to stay away from the result but will still come on here.
That's just a recipe for disaster.
No Boxrec for me until I have seen the fight.

Sunday could well be a quiet day on here! Haha.
Im in the last 4 weeks of my degree so staying up til 4-5am and feeling knackered for all of Sunday wasn't really an option, so this has saved me. As others hve said, I will be steering clear of all sports news and forums all day Sunday. ITV4, 8.30pm, I can handle that just about. Very good news.

This is great news.
However, I hate watching a fight when it is not "live". I reckon we will be able to see on the face of the presenter what the result will be.
Still far far better than not at all.

i don't mind waiting 24 hrs.
i'll find out the result cos i know curiousity will get the better of me. 8)
remember avoiding the result for tito-vargas back in 2000.
that was shown at 6 in the evening if i recall rightly.
'bout the only time i've managed to wait that long without folding.

Lol, I remember John Inverdale was good at giving away stuff when delayed fights were on BBC, although he clearly didn't give a sh*t and wished he was covering rugby. He would be grinning away with the "Which middle round can Froch land a barrage of punches and possibly force a stoppage? Let's go over to the arena now and see."

I will not listen to the introductions in the studio because some arse wil let slip something, it is best to wait until they are in the ring then turn the volume up!

Its Piss poor it isnt on itv4/shitanta/sky etc. live in the first place.

Think about it, what kind of revenue would ITV get at 4-6 in the morning?

Good effort, I think the delayed coverage will catch many casual fans who probably wouldn't know the result anyway. Froch is a quality fighter and this is a quality fight and hopefully a big fan base can be developed
