So adding the power punching, underrated Leeonzer Barber to the mix, DM has wins over 3 men who were current title holders/champs

No Rochiagani fought for Jones supposedly vacant WBC belt which Jones never officially vacated, he talked about moving to HW but never did and WBC jumped the gun putting on Nunn-Rochiagani as an official title fight, then Rochiagani stayed out of the ring for 2years with legal wranglings before picking up a payday against DM. So no Rochiagani wasn't the linear WBC champ

DM should have been jailed for fraud in the first Rochiagani fight himself

Actually Hill was not officially Linear champ, he unified with Maske when Jones was already a 175lb WBC titlist. To be linear the top 2 fighters in the division need to fight. How can Hill and Maske be 1 and 2 when the best fighter in the division is P4P no1 Roy Jones the WBC titlist, with wins over Toney, Hopkins, McCallum. Hill clearly wasn't top2 as we saw when Jones blew him out the water in 4rounds

Jones fought a weight drained Hill who had lost his title in a 12 round beating...to DM. In a non title fight, of little consequence. How can RJJ be one of the top at the weight when he'd only beaten Mike McCallum for an Interim belt? Maske had like 11 title defences, Hill had some 20, and you say Jones was a top 2 fighter at that point - ha!

They weren't top 2 though because Jones was clearly the best at the weight, Maske hadnt even achieved half as much as Jones. Even Jones win over McCallum was as good as anything Maske ever did and even Toney was clearly a level above Maske/Hill himself. All this DM was the real champion is academic BS, both should have fought but Jones did far more at 175 than DM ever did

And as for Hill being weight drained, it was a catch weight above LHW, so I think he would be more drained fighting at 175 against DM
