Stu,
Silence is golden but Harry went away for about 40 seconds before coming back and reading a few stats. That's not golden my friend.
Adios.

I dont think anyone in their right mind would criticise Harry for not being a boxing man.
Unlike some folk who write for the Sun and regurgitate the same old diatribe about how much better it was in their day, month after month and who at the hatton tackie fight sat in the press row didnt even know who bloody tackie was.
Silver wig wearing plonker getting handsomely to write the same old crap and cant be arsed to do any research ....pfffffffffffffff.
oh and fawns to captain Fwank at press conferences like an ex lover. serious its embarrassing.

I know someone who was Ringside for the Dunne fight and said it was amazing. i just rewatched the show from saturday and place was buzzing for the main event. With the coming of Sutherland and success of Linsday, Rogan, Dunne Irish boxing is on the up and i really hope i can get over for a fight one of these days.
I was at Dunne Walstad at the Point Theater in Dublin and it was the best show I've attended, atmosphere wise, and I've seen Hatton at the MEN, and Khan, and Froch in Nottingham.
Hunter Molitor came very close , but that was a massive fight in a small hall venue so it's unfair to compare to a big place.

You are not the first to say that !!!

With regards to the posters who have shown support to Bunce - good on you!!!
Whether people like him or not - or even if you do not like his style - Bunce is doing more for keeping British Boxing not only on our screens but in the newspapers than anyone else that I know - for those doubters - come on please tell me someone who does more for the sport with regards media activity!!!

DEFINTELY. and for that he has my support and credit, plus I met Steve a couple fo time when covering boxing just in passing was always very pleasant to me.

No I suspected not - another one of the spineless cowards who makes statements under the safety of his "keyboard warrior" name!!!
As for the reasons for posting on here - its a boxing forum, and lets face it, it doesn't take a lot to beat the quality of your posts - your humour comes from the playground and you fail at every single opportunity to bring any substance, quality or knowledge of boxing to your posts.
Please just look at the very first post on this thread - need I state anymore?
He`s right tho Spud, you hounded many people off that forum...just because they dared to disagree and slag off your then paymaster.....So like he said....Fu*k off spud...

I dont mean any ill to the man but it appears to me like he just doesnt try.

Bunce is great. Although my wife does refer to the boxing hour as "the show with that annoying man!".
He is a real boxing man and has forthright opinions, who cares if you agree or not - nobody can agree to anything on this forum anyway!
He has done a huge amount for boxing on TV and I am a big fan, keep up the good work (and the rants!)

What a night in Belfast. Sadly, I was sober throughout the broadcast. Sorry about that. I was fired up at one or two things that I saw and heard. That is all - it's called passion and if you watch other boxing on TV I can understand why many of you were confused!
Adios.
I was way of the mark them but ill take your word for it, Was there any truth to there being a few scuffles or near scuffles at times? A freind who was there said he seen a strong few verbals anyway.
Do you think setanta and hayemaker will be back at belfast or even in southern ireland ? As much as i dislike some of hayes traits hes put his name to a great company and booth is a very good fella great what he said after the maguire fight about a rematch.
Did you mingle with the fans after the show? i know a few lads there are big fans of your show

As you did say in your mini rant, it was a different era - there was no "red button" so how many people saw the fighters previous fights... so he had to say some facts about the previous fights.
We'll agree to disagree on this. When you said "did you hear that commentary"... I actually thought you were going to say "here was a master at his craft" and say how much better he was than the yanks we get now - but nevermind, cracking footage all the same.
I thought it was alot better than the "Oh joe blogs scores a point with a jab, another jab scores a point, scores a point with a good shot there (SHOT!)" that his successor always does at the amateurs. We can read the screen also.

Agree with that totally...my personal favourite night of boxing ...closely followed by Hunter v Pickering. something about the Borough Hall just makes hairs on your neck tingle
