I always enjoyed Page fights. I remember one he had, I watched on Foxsports
back in '99. I really enjoyed it. He lost it to Gonzalez but for some reason
I was into this fight. I was babysitting, and started training after watching it.
I just watched his fight against Coetzee. It is an ashame he past away due
to his wounds from the ring.

Poor Greg, I had some email chat with him & his wife around 2002, prior to Lewis-Tyson and they were both wonderful people. Greg himself told me some interesting stories. I later sent them a tape of some of his fights his ex-wife in Vegas had 'lost'.
Greg was in soo many entertaining fights, he really gave value for money - seek out his fights versus Marty Monroe, Alfredo Evangelista, Scott LeDoux, Trevor Berbick, Quick Tillis, Gerrie Coetzee, Mark Wills (1), Razor Ruddock, and Bonecrusher - all tremendous punch ups.
Even at 40 Page overcame then-danger man Terrence Lewis in a wild brawl, very good fighter & good man Greg Page, matched too tough time & again though.
RIP.

I liked the Greg from 1979-1983. After that, he fell off to stated and unstated reasons.
