Sore ribs ?
OK, genuine pull out,

but a challenger pulling out is different from a holder pulling out but then giving up the belt rather than rearranging the bout.

A challenger is just that- a challenger. But a title holder is, at least nominally, a Champion.

I would like to see how Brook would deal with Cox i think Brook would have far to much for Cox he looked limited in his last bout

Three week turn around means it's unlikely to be Hatton

Good opponant but Kell wins by mid way,at least Matthew would be a good barometer for Kells progress...

He will not take it.

I dont think he will either DG. :TU:

Well no one's gonna get the chance now cos Kel's out.
I hope the hand injury isn't the same one from the previous fight.
I heard that was quite nasty.
Danfoster - any info ?

Is it me or is Muttley doing a lot of pulling out lately?

Kell has hurt his hand again but it's not as bad as last time.

He had just stepped up to 100% punching the bag and open sparring. Unfortunately he then banged Lee Noble on the of his head and hurt it again.

It's been x-rayed, no breaks or dislocations but it has swollen up again. He has to rest now for a couple of weeks which ruled him out of May 22 but he will be out again soon - possibly end of June.

indeed. i personally wonder how easy it is for him to get to the weight- if you see him out at a card it looks like he walks around at about 12stone minimum- and how disciplined he is in either staying in near-permanent training, or taking the weight off. I hope that's unfounded speculation on my part.

Thanks for the info Dan.
That's a relief.
Look forward to seeing him back in action soon.

Oh. Right.

I'd got the impression that it was Brook who was injured first time around.

Then again I am quite dim.

I could well be totally wrong and I will stand corrected but did he not pull out against O'Donnell?

Ah yes, I'd forgotten about that.

I'd still call it evens on the whole, karmically speaking: Mutley pulls out against O'Donnell, Adnan Amar pulls out against Mutley, Mutley and Brook cancel against each other once a-piece.

I don't approve of any of this. People who get thumped in the face for a living should be permanently healthy, damnit.
