I think if Hatton can stear clear of cuts, despite taking the majority of the flush punches in the fight, he can get to Manny and stop him. I have a feeling Hatton's size beats Manny's speed in this one. I just want to see a great fight though. Can't wait!

F**k me I can't believe this many people voted for Hatton. I didn't see this thread and I got the impression that the large majority of Brit posters were picking Pacquiao even if they didn't want that outcome. But once again blind faith obviously ruled the head. You nuggets.

I bet we'll get the same sort of results if Froch end's up fighting Hopkins and that will go the other way as well.

Of course not. Hatton was the #1 LWW in the world, rated top 10 P4P, presumed to be more powerful, fighting a smaller man. Froch is the #2/3 SMW in the world (not a very deep division), rated nowhere P4P, and would be fighting a bigger, more experienced and skilled man.
Many American posters picked Hatton to win this one, as did many American journalists who are considered experts.

I was wrong. I went for a Hatton KO in round 10 - how silly do I look now.
