When some fighters make claims that most would view as arrogant, I'm sure a lot of it's said knowingly, almost with a wink. They're selling themselves, playing the part of a confident athlete. With Froch, it's just this complete tunnel vision and involuntary, unknowing confidence that prevents him from seeing anything that doesn't fit Froch logic.
Carl Froch does not see the funny side of Carl Froch, for everyone else it's just comedy gold.

Froch has got a good perspective on things with that comment though as opposed to Calzaghe I think
Forch is undefeated
Calzaghe is undefeated
when they fight somebodys 0 must go and lose their perfect record
with Calzaghe I think he would be alot more concerned about this than Froch
Calzaghe is all precious about his perfect 46-0 record - and wants to remain untarnished
but Froch is basically saying - why I you so scared of losing your undefeated record - Froch is not scared
Froch is willing to put it on the line
Its only boxing
so what if Calzaghe lost a fight
he still got a nice girlfriend - nice kids - nice house - plenty of money in the bank - a good life
its only boxing Joe - dont be scared of losing that perfect record - its not the end of the world

Calzaghe has retired. Leave him be I say. He was what he was, although not to everyone`s taste (WBO Champ).
Still, he has done well out of the sport, his head is not mashed up yet, so why should he bother coming back? Unless he is strapped for cash, which he should not be.
