Are you kidding me!?! That was the worst game of origin football I have ever seen. The amount of dropped ball and lazy defence was laughable... even worse than the time Ryan Girdler scored 32 points against the Queenslanders. Shit game.

Crocker copped a bigger punch than he landed.

Poore and Crocker was a Majority Draw according to the touchline judges. Poore landed the best shot, Crocker landed two.

As for the game, it was an anxious game, I enjoyed it for the most part. However defense was pretty lazy at times and the amount of dropped ball was ridiculous. The Blues seemed to finally start playing well after the punch-up and when they actually decided to throw the ball they started to see some progress at times.

Thurston was targeted a lot by the defense, but he had a blinder of a game.

I think overall NSW played a slightly better game (last 60mins at least) but as usual Qld found a way to win. Bastards.

not even the shocking calls by the officials could get the win for the blues.

Nice job q'land. A well deserved win :TU:

NSW handed it to them with inept handling and hopeless defence...

QLD didn't actually create any of there points, they all came off our errors.

Inglis run over one player, Kurt Gidley, who is half his size. He was in that position due to a NSW error which got them to that part of the field and two NSW players not even trying to tackle him i.e. hopless defence.

I notice that is also the only try you mention... that is 6 of 24 points, so what about the rest???

I'm just telling like it is.

If you think that was a good game of football from either team you are dead set kidding yourself.

Well, you probally got me there, but in 2 games it's the only time NSW ever looked like winning, and regardless of where your from Origin football is all about edge of the seat, QLD must of turned the ball over that many times in thier own half in the 2nd, QLD had players injured, sick and fatigued, and held them out in a gritty performance.
NSW won't remember this game, but QLD will remember that they didn't even have 11 fit players at one time on the field after 20 minutes into the toughest game in league, we all know international teams couldn't compete with our origin teams.

Mate did you lose a bit of coin on this game?

Mate Poore fucked up, you don't pick Mick Crocker, I remember an overhand right landed on poore, then he was ducking, crocker landed a nice uppercut and Poore was dazed(you can check this out) poore threw a willy nelly punch(well connected) anywhere at the same time Crocker was being man handled by other NSW forwards, Poore was soft for the rest of the game.

Ask any QLD player who they want in the origin team and they will tell you It's Mick Crocker, because the man can not just play football.

Crocker is undoubtadley (sp) one of the toughest dudes to play league, at least in the current era.

As for the injuries Qld suffered, I'm pretty sure even the trainer pulled a hammy.
