If it's any consolation i flew to Vegas for Castillo v Corrales 3. The rest of the card went ahead but i was too disappointed to go.
However the warm welcome of the ladies at Crazy Horses II took the edge off my depression...

usually boxing bets have some sort of clause of "if the fight takes place before" which is often the end of the year. If it doesn't take place, you get your money back. It's not like other ante post bets, because the event actually didn't take place, unlike, say, the Cheltenham Gold Cup, which still would have taken place despite your ante post horse pulling out.
On the original subject, I am, at present, out a week's work, unless a decent name steps in to save the day.

@riddick it depends on the website
I had a lot on this and blue square are making me wait 30 days as are Totesport. Boylesports voided my bet and reimbursed me straight away
I think if I can be bothered I'll put heat on BSQ and Tote. The fight is off so I should get my monies back straight away
But as you said, f*ck boxing !! I had plans for my inevitable winnings

Nothing. I feel the pain though. R lass would have gone nuts had I booked and then it was called off. Hope a British guy gets the job, just to give the Brits something to cheer.
Rogan would have had a go, shame he lost and got cut. He'd have been pole-axed but....

Me too. Its a choker alright. The worst thing is, I also had great faith in the 40/1 Haye 1-3 Kotelnik/KO double and the Wlad 1-3 Kotelnik/KO double. Feels like I've lost a lot of money. If the fight actually happens near the end of the year, you can keep the under bet on I think, but who wants to keep their money tied up that long.

Yeah I've got a couple of 100 tied up in bets. I hope it gets rescheduled as soon as, because I was loving the 40/1 odds I got for Haye in rounds 1 and 2. As you say who wants their wonga tied up for that long.

I think I'll keep my round betting tied up as I only had £120 on it but the big money I want back
If it gets rescheduled then I'll lump it back on the under. It really is 'free' money
I think I migh have to play some scratchcads and hope for the best. I was taking home a minimum of £2300 and I need to find legal ways of getting that money back
Oh well. Hopefully I can get under odds for Hatton v Judah

If it does get rescheduled after the 30 day cutoff we'll have to take 4/11 on the under, which clearly is far less appealing.
Here's hoping the unlikely happens and it gets rescheduled before the 30 days passes. Really don't think it will though.
I might put a lot more on the Kotelnik KO now.

Haven't lost anything, because i'll be in Mexico. You guy's have lost a few quid, but i'll have swine flu in a week or so.
Surely you will be able to get a refund on the tickets? Even if Chagaev gets the gig it's still not what people have paid for.

£200 flight from Norway, £50 ticket and £25 return ticket to Gelenschirken.
The flight is non refundable so I`m keeping the faith and am still going for the Germany lash up Thursday to Sunday. Obviously hoping for a decent replacement for Haye.
Sh*t happens, but no point crying over spilt milk. Crack on and make the best of an utterly wank turn of events. There are worse things in life than a three day middle of summer sesh in the Dorf
