Reckon he will probably retire imo, Just too dangerous.

I think Hopkins will fight once more then call it a day! At 44, it is a risk carrying on, but say we do get Froch-Hopkins & Bernard wins? That would be another fantastic achievement in the career of B-Hop & it would be him defying the critics & so-called experts once again!

Froch needs to stop negelcting his defense, especially having his left hand low nearly all the time! Hookins will take advantage of those defensive weaknesses!

If Taylor had took a knee before it got stopped (it's neither here nor there, as the referee might have stopped it there as well), then it would've been a 10/7 round for Froch. I would've still had Froch losing 112/113. So it really was a monumental effort in the 12th.

I had it the same as 2 of the judges 116-112 i think it was a bit wide but Taylor landed the cleaner better punches he made Froch look like an am he made stupid mistakes and Taylor capotilised and if he fought Hopkins he would take advantage of every mistake Froch makes he's so clever the overhand right would land all night long Hopkins late KO imo

Seems some are making a sweeping opinion on Froch based mainly on the Taylor fight. But lets have it right about that fight.

Froch had a shocking start which no doubt was a major factor in why he was poor in general that night. It took some rebounding to get over that heavy early KD. But he did rebound and by the end was outjabbing and beating Taylor up. Overall it was fairly poor performance but with a brilliant finish. But Carl will have learnt plenty from that fight. When he stuck to his boxing and let things flow he was beating Taylor no probs. He got himself into trouble when he neglected the jab and started to load up. He just has to note those things and he seems intelligent enough to do that. That fight is a blessing in disguise imo, as Carl is being vastly underated off the back of it but he still gained a lot of profile from it as the finish was so dramatic.

If Froch comes out loading up looking to take Hopkins head off with single shots then he'd make it hard on himself. But he sticks behind his jab and lets his boxing flow then he'll beat Hopkins. I would hope the lessons from the Taylor fight have been learnt and i hope Froch/Hopkins happens. Its make or break for Carl.
