it's harder to hit a family member with full force than someone outside of the family. it's just a natural inhibition, and it would affect a competitive prize fight. it would be a glorified fencing/sparring match - and then some. wlad would probably have a chance this way, even though he's simply the "designer" version of the 2 fighting brothers, the one without the grit and the toughness. it's a weird scenario and it could allow the lesser of the 2 to emerge victorious. that way, it would solve nothing, it would prove nothing, it would do no good whatsoever.

just about everyone knows that vitali is the true champ. while vitali was away, wlad sucked and has been in some of the worst fights ever. vitali has done more spanking peter and gomez than wlad has done when vitali was away (a mouthful, i know)

boxing has 2 klitschkos - live with it!

I don't even think the brothers have sparred for many years. They seem like such a close family - if a fight between these two came off then I can't see it being any good. Both brothers would be cautious. If this did come off, it would be for financial gain only.

Wlad-Vitali will NOT happen! If there is speculation about it possibly happening then I don't think there's anything in that whatsoever!

If the fight did happen, Vitali woild beat his younger bruv like he used when they were kids!

the jacobowski brothers fought each other, sure there are other examples too.

its interesting, i wouldn't want to see it either and agree it shouldn't happen, but I can't come up with a good enough reason why it's acceptable to batter guys with your fists unless they're flesh and blood.

I suppose some sort of primordial argument such as 'your brother was never your enemy in battle' might suffice, but we don't really live in the stone age any more.

Will never happen, this is just hogwash.

However, if it did, I'm pretty sure Vitali would muller him.

Nice post on the boxing brothers from Old Bones Ian but now is the time for somebody to consider locking this thread.
It is non-boxing.

It would be like when the Williams sisters play each other at tennis.....a 12 round jab-and-holdathon followed by a rematch.

They'll win one each with minimum damage and minimum effort.

Its pathetic that this non story is even being given the time of day in the media. It will never happen, nor should it and all talk of it should stop completely.

And besides Vitali would crush his younger brother with ease.

Christ it must be a slow day for this bollox to see the light.

Just last week Manny was droning on about how Wlad had trouble with Rahman, as he was great friends with Rock's son, and found it difficult to beat up his dad.

And now you believe he'll take on his own brother??
