young P4P1 Mark Maskiell
And there are a few more i have forgotten.
Them guys listed are all great prospects and with the right fights can go a long way.

hey ben, would the lack of opportunities to fight on a regular basis count against these guys from the west??
Re: PERTH FIGHTER LOOKING TO BE ACTIVE
Id say it does, They dont get the regular fights that the Eastern states guys can get. Mark DeMori has traveled all over to get his fights, He has had more in the Eastern states and Overseas than here in Perth.unleash06 wrote:ben k wrote:There are some good young prospects here.

Justin Footit is having a show this Friday night. Featuring Mark DeMori, Andy Green, Pieter Cronje and Clint Hoskins. All good fighters.
It should be a good small show and ive heard Justin hopes to run more if this one is succsesful. So im hoping it is, as there is a lot of Talented guys here that cant get enough fights.
Re: PERTH FIGHTER LOOKING TO BE ACTIVE
Will you be working it or attending as a fan?

Re: PERTH FIGHTER LOOKING TO BE ACTIVE
I went to a lot of cards in Perth in the late 80s into the 90s and there were always probally a hardcore fanbase of about 1500 fans at the Italian club or superdrome to see fighters like Cafaro, Riley, Jones, Miller, Mogridge and a host of other local fighters. The distances didnt seem to much of a problem then to bring interstate opposition over for meaningful bouts.
Im pretty sure those fight fans are still out and willing to come and support local boys most of us just want reasonable matchmaking before handing over our cash.
I dont know a lot about it but trying to earn a quid as a matchmaker by getting on the phone to asia for opponents dosent seem like you are having a go.

Yeah spot on PR, good cards will bring back the crowds.
