What I can't get my head around with Wazza is that on this bill, he has the finest young prospect we've produced in a while in Ezekiel Brook.
But what does he do ?
Doesn't even put him on live, to showcase his talent.
Worse than that, he has yet to put him on a show remotely near Sheffield.
He could headline in Sheffield for a British title fight.
From Sky's perspective (and no disrepect intended) would a headline fight involving Brook be better or worse than Haskins headlining ?
Having said that, Wazza's contract with Sky is up - so maybe he's cramming everything on to one bill, in anticipation he may not get many dates, or indeed any, going forward.
No doubt Khan negotiations will be separate to the rest.

I dont get it either, he's leaving off 2 or 3 fights that would easily headline (and be a lot better than recent ones) friday fight night.

Perhaps we should all email sky/warren, dont want this happening again.

I think if Khan wins he has a better hand at getting a contract.

This is absolutely ridiculous!

Why in this day and age can we not have a "red button" option of watching live boxing rather than build up - even with no commentary??

To not show Brook or Enzo after we have forked out £15 is criminal! I don't want to see the Olympians batter some tomato cans, I'd rather see Kell and Enzo in proper fights!

SKY or Warren - whoever made this decision - can get to fcuk!

(Although I know I will still buy it as I think the main event will be a cracker, as will Small-Hall)

Piss poor they're not showing Enzo and Brook, was going to order this, until I read that. May just catch the main event in a pub now, or maybe a stream.
Sky really are the pits, just reminds why I cancelled SS1 a year ago now.

Yeah, it`s pathetic. Kell Brook in a British Title fight against decent opposition, but instead of that we get three walkovers in the Olympians?

Plus we want to see Enzo, that could be intresting. I do think that Hall v Small will be a cracker though (Small will stop him).

Disgraceful that they don`t show the whole card live. They must be showing us a recording of it though??

Brook vs Lomax is a very interesting fight. It should be shown.
Maccarinelli vs Lebedev is likely to be very good entertainment.

Yes they'll probably have them in the can, as backup, in case any of the Olympian knockover jobs end too early - no guarantee though. Pathetic, they should have the novice fights as backup, not the other way round - a bunch of peckerheads making the decisions as per usual.

sneaky buggers, sticking olympians on a PPV for what - to help top up their payday a bit - when we should really be getting the championship fights.

i probably will get this.

i'm in the mood for a big night of boxing.

fed up with being fight starved after all these pull outs.

small-hall is an interesting one.

as is enzo's.

khan-kotelnik is a really interesting fight.

i agree this shouldn't be ppv. :shame:

if mayweather-marquez was going ahead we'd have got more for our money. :(

i fully expected to be able to see Enzo being flattened by that Russian dude. I am not amused by this. If I wasn't going to win an inordinate amount of money I wouldn't pay for it.

That is sh!t showing 3 Olympians who will definetly win against piss poor opponants instead of Enzo vs a decent unbeaten Russian and Brook vs Lomax in a British title fight again FW dissapoints with this sh!t show

By the way, this thread is hilarious and this post pretty much summerizes why I think this thread is hilarious and highlights the mentality of the average boxing fan.

Complaining about the PPV and moaning about not getting this and not getting that.

And then at the end the poster says, "But I'll still fork over 15 quid". lol

"Hey Sky and Frank, treat me like a mug all you want, but I'll still fork over 15 quid to you".

true perhaps but i have another reason for buying it, and if you knew it, you wouldn't think the thread is hilarious.

anyway, my main purpose was to find out if they were showing brook and mac fights.

they should show Brook live, I imagine we will see it anyway.

I told Sky sports yesterday, that I no longer wished to shell out an extra 22 quid or whatever it is a month for sky sports, from now on, If there is a fight worth shelling out for, a proper megafight, I'll pay out, but otherwise they can piss off.

I'm sick of shelling out all that money, and then being charged on top. I only really get Sky Sports for boxing, and whenever there's something really worth watching I am expected to pay more. Scandalous when you consider that Sky sports is costing over 250 quid a year.

Boxing is being subsidised by our handing over this money, it's where the majority of the revenue is coming from these days, and I for one am pretty tired of being a benefactor.

The joke was obviously lost in translation. The last bit was a joke, taking the piss out of the people who do that - there is no way I will fork out £15 for a card that is not PPV quality.

These are the type of fights (semi world title fights) that channels like SKY should be showing every so often to justify the cost of the subscription. PPV fights should be blockbusters like Hatton-Mayweather etc.

Then I thought, well at least the card as a whole is decent - but we don't even get to see some of the main fights.

So to make it clear - no way will SKY or fwank be getting my £15.
