I think his body has had enough of the yo-yoing and can't do it anymore, punch resistance has gone and I see someone as speedy as Khan as just running rings round him and eventually TKO-ing him in middle rounds if it gets that far. Hatton is shot.
That's one possible scenario.

Another is that he really sees this as a fight he can win and takes the time and effort required to get into terrific mental and physical shape at 10st and rips Khan apart.

There are a lot of intangibles in this proposed match.

I'd like to see it happen this year.

ricky is a proud man and it would be tragic to one day hear him say "ricky hatton has only lost to three no1 pound for pound champions in mayweather, pacquio and amir khan"(!)

Although Jhan boxed an intelligent fight against Kotelnik and won clearly, he never once troubled him with his power.

His power was virtually non existent. He will need a bigger shot on him if he fights some of the better light welters or even if he goes back down to lightweight.

Still looks very vunerable to me. Credit where it`s due, he fought a great fight, but despite the pundits saying otherwise, I think Kotelnik is pretty ordinary.

britain now has 3 fighters in the top ten of the jnr welter division, be a shame for the country if at least one of the potential match-ups didnt come off over here. then there would be loud calls for the winner to face the remaining guy, would do the sport a lot of good on these shores

Hatton v Khan has the potential to be a 'no-win' situation for Sports Network imo.

If Hatton still has something left in the bank and starches Khan, then Warren suddenly has to find a way of building up his fragile marquee fighter again following a loss to a 'shot' fighter.

However, if Hatton really is finished and gets ripped apart by a younger, hungrier, fitter Khan in front of a big stadium crowd, this could actually work against Amir. Would the 'public' forgive Khan if he were to give Hatton a beating? Has this the potential to be another Bugner-Cooper scenario?

The only way I see this happening is if Warren secretly believes that Khan is gonna get shown up again soon anyway and decides to cash in his chips now on what has the potential to be the biggest grossing British fight in history.

I'd be interested in witter V Khan.

Hatton V Khan might have "mega fight" written all over it, but I think witter would be better.

Saturdays Khan would stop Hatton in 2 rounds, Hatton is done with a capital D!

Witer would knock them both out.

Khan has the bottle to fogjht Witter, I am sure of that1

If Witter gets a belt it might happen, Fwank does not call the shots with Amir.

Witter by Ko 6!

Unlike Hatton, Khan has the balls to step up and fight ANYONE, imo.

Would mean he gets stretched, Hatton and Khan should never happen.

It was an excellent performance and a great result for Amir at the weekend. Credit due. But I'd back Hatton to beat him and enjoy a wonderful swan song.
