This is a quick one, Aydin Selchuk was a fantastic amatuer and won tons of medals for his country Turkey and is now a very succesful pro in Germany! He boxed Frankie at the Europeans and Frankie sent him that wild cos he couldn't hit him that he threw him on the floor and punched him in the back of the head, Frankie was winning about 6-0 at the time and the ref eneded up DQ'ing Selchuk at which point he was going so crazy cos of Frankie he went for ther ref,his coach and kicked a 20litre tub of water about 5 ft in the air.It was the craziest thing I've ever seen in boxing.Even the coach was that angry he cracked the ref too!! :o This was a world medalist, european medalist and a knockout specialist on the am scene too, He was a top class am and Frankie made him go completly off his rocker..

Frankie is almot impossible to nail when he relaxes and get's going and the better the opponent the more you'll see this.
nice.

i bet his reflexes are better though, *if* he is living the right kind of life outside the ring.

its an understatement to say he hasn't got the best reputation in Birmingham

by the way i thought BJS looked flabby at 'supermiddleweight' have he and cousin Fury been sharing the same chef? :-?

Billy will come good mate, I just think he's trying his hand to see which weight suits him best..

Frankie is living a great life in Manchester, I've known Frankie many years now and it's fair to say that living in Birmingham and being a pro would have been hard for him BUT he put boxing first, Made the move and he's giving himself every opportunity to become a world champion!! I for 1 think he is more than capable of doing it!! Immense talent and right joker as well as being a right little shit at times,

I like to call him the Paul Gascoinge of Boxing, Take from thta what you will.. :TU:

I PERSONALLY BELEIVE IT WAS STOPPED TOO EARLY BUT IN ALL FAIRNESS I THOUGHT SAUNDERS SHOWED QUICK HANDS AND GOOD HEAD MOVEMENT , ENOUGH TO HAVE MADE ME IMPRESSED WITH HIM , PEOPLE ON HERE SEEM TO THINK HES THE WORST OF THE OLYMPIANS BUT I THINK HES THE BEST ONE , I THINK DE GALE AND HIS HYPE MACHINE IS MOST LIKELY TO WIN A TITLE BUT OUT OF WARREN THINKING HES ANOTHER KAHN REALLY AND PROMOTING HIM IN SUCH A WAY , I PERSONALLY DONT THINK FRANKIE GAVIN WILL DO AS GOOD AS THE OTHER 2 , HES THE ONE THAT INTEREST ME LEAST. BUT TO BE HONEST THEY ALL DID WELL .

'But I'd have stopped in as soon as it was announced'

That is a 1st ballot hall of fame quote

Re Brook, I've been a fan since the McIntrye fight. Beautiful diplay of punching. I knew he would stop inhim but the odds sucked so I didn't touch it. Glad he looked good. Wanna see him in with Jennings, Hatton, Muttley or a tough US trial horse that doesn't get blown away. A 147lb Yori Boy Campas if one exists at the moment

I think all 3 olympians looked good the other day, when i say that i think Saunders will be the 1st to lose his '0' , i still think he'll go far in the pro ranks.

Not sure supermiddle is his right weight division, but he's a young lad so may take a couple of years to find his prime weight.
