I hear that they sparred twice and indeed on the first day Hall clearly got the upper hand.

When Kell went back the next day things went quite differently - although unlike some people, it would seem, kell doesn't go round telling the world what happens in sparring because he's got a bit more class than that.

i like Jennings but he had his chance so i want brook to win ! kel brook to win a world tittle

Very interesting one to see, this. Brook is clearly very talented, but I'd say Jennings is a step up from Lomax and the like.

Brook will probably be a betting favourite.

in all seriousness its going to be a good fight, fair play to both lads for taking a fight which could have been easily avoided and both could have took different routes.
Like i said i think were gonna see a different type of fight for jennings i would like to see him box brook the way he did pryce(stick to him and not let him breath and stand of and throw at will) if jennings utilises this style of fighting i honestly think brooks in trouble...may the best man win....jennings

Kell doesn't wanna avoid the jennings fight at all, he wants to do it faster than Cotto (which he will) so he can increase his marketability.

Oh please! Jennings is a good fighter but hes not in brooks league. Kell will win this. Im saying by ko middle rounds.

Any idea when this will be shown? It would be a very very good Friday Fight Night- really put some spunk back into the bollocks that show has become.

Or even as a Saturday one-off, or possibly the undercard of Khan's next bout.

Not only is Jennings a class act in the ring he is one out of it as well, and most of the posts I've read on here have been misinformed and ridiculous.

Jennings is a very good boxer, great stamina, workrate and it took a lot of shots from Cotto to eventually stop him. He has been totally dismissed on this thread and deserves better than that.

Brook is good and I wish him well, but I reckon Jennings might sneak this on points. As I said before, if Brook does stop him you could argue he's fringe world class. Should be a great fight.

Jennings took some good shots but you can't disagree that everytime he was within Cotto's range he either was rocked badly or went down. He is indeed a good boxer, but lacks firepower and that's why I think young Kell will stop him early.

Well if its on the same night as the olympicians, Probably in the highlights part of the show.

Jennings is a bit of a slow starter i remember Chris Sauders putting him over early and someone else did too.That will spell trouble for Jennings i would not be surpised if its a quick win for Kell

This will definatly be on live... surely? It would be remarkably stupid to not show this live.

I'd guess as the main event of a show that features the Olympians as main support.

I feel Brook might just get found out against Jennings. Jennings can dig more than most people on here seem to think.

This is a real step up for Brook, dont forget that and fair play to him for wanting this fight.

Agreed, Mick has been totally dismissed. He is a quality operator.

For me it's JUST (only just) in his favour as he's fought better opposition and has the experience.

That said, Brook is impressive..

i agree that maybe people underestimate Jennings

however he has now been KO'd, so we have to account for the fact that may have damaged and changed him.

will he still be putting spite in his shots or will he be gunshy? will he have the confidence to come forward into what, whether or not Brook has proven his quality yet, is obviously (in Brook) a potent combination of power, speed and seemingly timing? or will he fight more defensively and in a shell?

for me this is in no way a fight that Jennings can win on the backfoot, and I wonder if, the first time he really feels Brook's power, it may set the tone for a quite negative performance from him and a none-too-exciting fight

put it this way any Jennings-backers: what happened to Jennings once he felt Mutley's power? regardless of whether you agree with the scoring of that fight, on the very few occasions Mutley got through with power shots, Jennings pretty much shut up shop offensively for the rest of those rounds, and there was a lot of holding going on (which was equally mutley's fault tbh)

jennings had over trained for the multey fight,he was doing pads at 2 gyms at the time,i feel it was fatiuge which showed more than "mutleys power punching".
And i dont think jennings will be thinking that because brook hasnt fought anyone descent doesnt mean hes no good.same as brook will not be thinking because mike was stopped with a pound for pounder doesnt mean he isnt coming to fight.
jennings has got alot of heart i think we can all see that,so i dont think gunshy or negative boxing will come in to play.
