Do they have middleweights in Laos? The Kazakh may be a tough match.

The no 1 Kazakhstani middleweight is 27 year old Gennady Golovkin, rated 12 in the world by Boxrec. A silver medalist at the Athens Olympics, based in Hamburg, Germany he is 17-0 with 14 KOs. Unfortunately there are no active Laotian pro-boxers listed at any weight.

Golovkin would KO Mundine, imo.

Hold on here just a minute. I have'nt been following the story closely so I have two points -

1. The IBO champion has to defend his belt against someone in the top 30 in their rankings.

2. Did the IBO order a rematch with Geale.

Joy dropped Naleca in the fifth round and could have enjoyed an early night had he wanted.

Instead he toyed with Naleca before putting him away for the count in the ninth with a sweet right upper cut in the neutral corner.

With the junior middleweight crown, Joy is now destined for an overseas opponent in October, with a world title clash against Australia's Tony Mundine a real prospect for December.
