Matthew was actually in training preparing for Judah, and in my humble opinion would have beaten the mouthy Yank. Matthew Hatton is now a different fighter than the one who boxed out of the Phoenix Camp and will prove it again when beating Lovemore Ndou
How? Judah is better in virtually every single department. Power, speed, experience, boxing ability, etc...

Matt Hatton is a boxer on the rise, Judah past his best and declining with every fight. Judah would have to stop Matt Hatton within 4-6 rounds and cant see that happening. After this, as usual Judah tires and probably gets stopped, or looks for a way out.

yeah no way would a guy that boxed with such ferocity in a gallant defeat to power punching Miguel Cotto have the smarts to keep off Matt Hatton.
I wonder how that Yank's getting on, the one that was due to get sent down soon after he boxed Hatton for insurance fraud. Motivated eh.
When he's retired he can look back and say, that was me, in America, complaining about getting looked over for the Lonsdale belt. Now come in, sit down, and I'll tell you all about how if we woz bowf world champions I wouldn't fight me bruvver.

Northeast Boxing Fan you obviously got a big down on Matt Hatton, and if he'd beaten Zab Judah it would have been because the Yank was over the hill, not up for it, not motivated etc. No doubt the same things will be said when Hatton beats Ndou. All i am saying is that Hatton has improved greatly since leaving the Phoenix Camp, probably not losing a round in the 4 fights since. He has been offered the Ndou fight so why not take it, and hopefully move onto bigger fights. Matt Hatton would, im sure, fight Jamie Cox in a heartbeat, he's not exactly the hardest to hit is he ? but whats the point of that, it doesnt advance Matts career and there certainly isnt any money in that fight.

gotta be honest here.
any talk of matt beating judah is off the mark.
matt prefers boxing straight ahead guys.
he's never been comfortable with slick fighters.
judah is past his best and living off his name these days.
but he'd still outbox matt fairly comfortably.
n'dou is a better style for matt and i hope that one happens.
