A great main event yeah. If it has a good support bill, I'll go live, if not, I'll watch it on TV!
Would be a top contest to help restore some faith in Friday Fight Night.

It's said to be at the Echo Arena but not sure how that's gonna work. Warren's connections with the Sun newspaper will make this difficult. Not only is the Sun very unpopular in Liverpool because of all the crap they wrote after Hillsborough but also the arena is sponsored by the Liverpool Echo, which is part of Trinity Mirror Group and therefore a direct rival to the Sun.

quigley blames smith for saying he's a never gonna be on scouse fm,also quigley's gf is smith's cousin & said his girl aint happy with the fight nor the animosity, rightly so.
if true seem's smith aint a nice character & needs to come down a peg or two.

There is more to it than that pal, Paul is a good lad when you get to know him, He's being portrayed as the bad guy at the min and if it sells tickeets Im sure he won't mind, I'll say this much though, Quigley better come prepared and ready cos Paul will, There is a lot riding on this and Quigley is getting a lot off press after his win over Dodson!!
Let's not forget Dodson was clearly ahead that night too!! I see this one ending in a nasty knockout, I think Quigley will start slow and not engage Paul for the first 6 or 7 rounds BUT then he'll realise he's down and then he'll start to trade! I feel it's at that point that the fight will come to an end in Paul Smith's favour..

Probably not his place to say i agree, just though i'd ask.
Seeing as this is on now & date set etc i understand that they will be 'hyping' it up but this will have added spice as they really don't like each other. I'd just like to know the REAL reasons behind it???

I was told that the reason it took so long before it was used as a venue for boxing was because of this. The Echo wouldn't host a Warren event with any Sun advertising because of the Hillsborough stuff and it wasn't until Haye came along with his stable of Liverpool lads that it was used. I'm sure Warren has come to some sort of agreement whereby he won't have Sun advertising that night.
Oh and Bunce said before that Enzo Mac is returning in Liverpool
