Actually the fight was really close and, if like me you don't like Paulie's smothering and holding, I can see why you'd give it to Diaz. He wasn't robbed, it was just that ridiculous scorecard from Van Hoy. I actually think Paulie brought it on himself with that pre-fight moaning -what else could the judges do?
Score the fight fairly.

surprised the fight was as close as it was.

thought diaz effective pressure would handle paulie.

IMO, Diaz is now an 8 round world-class fight, and after that, he slips his pace, accuracy, punch-output and power. Paulie isn't world-class - he gets hit too easy at world-level. Hopefully we get to see a rematch at Madison Square Garden.

Ye so did I. I thought it would be like the Hatton fight but go the distance I see him winning the rematch easier imo
