Good grief I've just clicked the link and seen BN's headline........is that what's coming up this Friday??........championing MH alongside Mayweather and Marquez........if this is the case I'll cease buying it. Genuinely stunned by that.
Take a cup of Horlicks...

The headline is just playing on the photograph. Of course they're not comparing M Hatton with Floyd and Marquez.

Because he's the "mandatory". Go figure...

Yes, it's a perfectly acceptable match in its own right. Perhaps the fact that discussions about it have been hijacked by complaints about the IBO will give the promoters something to think about.

Don't think there is much to get outraged about here. Matthew Hatton is doing okay, he's not a bonafide world champ if he wins, and most boxing fans will know this.

My problem is with TV companies selling this as a world title fight, but then again, from their standpoint, why is the IBO's belt any less worthy of consideration, given that all of them set their own rankings, and are far from above reproach.

Its a decent competitive match which people are right is miles better than some of the dross served up in the oast 6 months.

Who cares what title they are fighting for, they could be fighting for the IBCWEEEGGGGDDD multi national belt for all I care, its a good fight bottom line.

Too many Hatton haters on here......................................

I completely agree with what you state - its a good fight in my view and I personally think it will be bloody good if Matthew wins - he works bloody hard always in the shadows of his brother - he is a nice quiet down to earth lad who works his nuts off for his family - I want him to win!!!

Bami was a million miles away from Ted Bami that's why he got the shot at whatever bauble that was. And he hasn't fought N'dou yet. Another case of Audley gob.
