This is going to sound stupid, try to understand what I mean. I don't think they are irrelevant, I just don't think they needed to go into the article they weren't relevant to the story they were publishing, In the grand scheme of of his legal history previous cases are relevant, I just don't think that article needed to bring them up, which is what you and chesh said.

Proper journalism (or at least my definition of it) would have mentioned Warren's history in the courts. That would have made it a story, as opposed to a rehashed 'flat earth news' PA release.
