yeh he was robbed, at least fury said he would give him a rematch. twice he's been robbed now. Fury gave a good fight but there was at least 3 rounds in it.

Honestly, I'm still gobsmacked at that decision. The ref had a shocker.

I hope Frank Maloney does not get disciplined/fined by the BBBofC - if he does that will be another travesty - Maloney was completely correct in his words and when something like Fury/McDermott happens then the fighter and the promoter have every right to have their say.

Maloney paid decent money for the fight to be on Sky TV.

Whilst Fury showed grit and determination - he lost the fight.

Team McDermott and Maloney have every right to say their bit.

The BBBofC has to act now and that is to let Terry O'Connor know he just doesn't have what it takes to be a "star" referee.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

As most expected, Fury is pure hype. A flailing arm-puncher with zero defence or technical ability. I'll give him credit for digging deep and trying to end matters in the final two rounds, but Fury will need a miracle to win a British title. He's shite and made John McDermott look like a prime Riddick Bowe in there.

I lost a substantial stake tonight on that fight and I don't often gamble but I just thought that the Bookies had it PLAIN WRONG. I lost considerably more on the returns I (thought!!!!) I had easily made.

I will be keeping hold of my slips hoping for an INVESTIGATION INTO THIS SORRY REFEREEING SHAMBLES.

I am gutted for John Mcdermott who thoroughly outscored and outlasted the younger, bigger man. McDermott was just leaning on him the whole fight throwing short punches, Tyson was garbage but he must have thrown twice as many punches.

Tyson Fury is quoted in this week's Boxing News as saying after he beats Mcdermott on his own patch he wants Mcdermott fans to become Tyson Fury fans.
