Kirby is tough but his boxing skills are pretty poor, probably because he is too fat, no surprise he got stopped.

I will say Impressive Win by Houmono, Could be some really good Matchups now for the OPBF belt. Which brings fighters a WBC rating. Maybe Solo Vs DeMori or Leapi or Cronje

Great work by Solo! Outworked Kirby and connected a lot of good shots. I must say Kirby has a solid chin, but you don't want to be taken too many of those shots to the head. I also dislike Kirbys style of fighting if you want to call it that..too much relying on his weight, lean etc...Solo fought smart and kept up the work rate with some clean counters and lateral movement...nows his chance to make a move on the scene and keep the momentum going!

Well.. wasn't i of the mark, great performance and a very solid fight by solo, he fought the entire 10 rounds at a very high pace and i have to congratulate him on his stamina.

I still want to see that fighter earlier in his career where he puts his right foot back and really loads up.

Mate, Kirby is a very solid Heavyweight and his conditioning is top notch, but in know way did he lose this fight because he is too fat...he could stand to tone up a bit, but i suppose when he comes on here to reply to that stupid remark you made he'll probably advise you to learn more about boxing ....which is probably a good idea

The commentator kept talking about Kirby's 8th round KO of Nathan Briggs as if last night was going to be a repeat performance. Haumono is a far different fighter to Paul Briggs' bigger twin.

Kirby trained his balls off for this fight he wouldn't call him out and not train for it especially when your fighting haumono live on fox but hats off to both boys and my hat back on to all other wankers who denied haumono kirby damn he's 1 tough cookie and if alex rematched kirby he would absolutely destroy the rhino.

Lets admit it kirby is not much more than a fat punching bag, briggs was kicking his butt all the way up to the 8th, mirovic would be a good test for solomon, i'm not convinced solomon can go places, i'm not convinced that his chin is good enough, you got to have a chin unless your defence is flawless

i don't think that is a fair comment. Michael has only had 11 fights, which means there is room for a change in style if required. He hasn't shirked a challenge and usually has a crack, always fighting with heart. He might be able to loose a few pounds but CW is out of reach. IMO he needs to make some style adjustments.

Maybe his fight with nathan softened him up a bit for haumono, he took a lot of brutal shots from nathan, he won't be boxing too much longer if he keeps taking punishment like that

Somebody has to teach Michael to keep his guard up. Solo was hitting him with nearly every punch to the head he threw. Nobody can take that kind of punishment for long. Solo just wore him down.

Getting back to Solo, I wonder if he will fight Justin Whitehead again? The former leading amateur is the only official loss on his record.

I didn't pick kirby to win either, cause he is slow and open for solomons right hand and had taken a lot of punishment in his last fight with from briggs.
People were acting like he can't be stopped, as long as you're human you can be stopped

Lets not admit it, the guy has a lot of attributes that more talented fighters don't possess,like HEART, A EXCELLENT CHIN, AND ENDURANCE.
