I just seen this video on Youtube the other day and I thought I would share it with fellow posters

I had not seen the video before - and I was surpsired at the confidence Joe Calzaghe had in the fights outcome

Obviously he would pick his man to win - but he seems certain in the video

Well despite your piss taking post - I think its a oppurtunity to answer this how I really see it

The reason for mentally losing it / hair messed up, etc

I believe Maccarenelli suffered from cognitive dissonance

He told himself for the weeks leading up to the fight that he could do it - and tried to convince himself

But in life the moment of truth - strips away the bullshit - and if you have false confidence - that crumbles when the moment of truth arrives

Only true confidence like David Haye had will stand up in the heat of battle come fight night
