I remember him saying he was ready for Barrera and Morrales when he had a WBU trincket. In saying that what boxer wouldnt... just made me think "f-in no chance mate" at the time.

Derry's just a confident lad, you get it everywhere.
Met him in Formby playing in a charity football match, came across as sound.

i dont think derry has done anything to warrant the amount of stick he gets from what ive seen and heard of him he seems sound

Derry Matthews is a good signing for Hatton there building a good little stable up there I think Matthews is a good domestic fighter with very good skills his defence isnt great though but im sure he'll bounce back from his defeats

oh, okay, well i guess he's a new addition to my shitlist then.
still, as long as he isn't rubbing the laces into cuts around the eyes, and seemingly doing it with relish as Derry did vs Simpson, he'll be behind Derry on that particular count
