You never know with Big Aud'. I dont think he is anywhere as bad as some people make out. Sure he has made mistakes, talks a little to big and gets ahead of himself. But the guy has the tools to do the job.

I am not saying he is going to win a world title or anything like that but he comes in for a lot of stick, some of justified, most of it not.

The guy is coming to the end of what has been a disapointing career, no doubt, he could have achieve alot more. Waiting for the Olympics didnt help his cause, atleast he won that but that cost 4-5 years of his pro career. Turning pro at 29 was too late and he has been chasing his tale ever since.

Maybe try to win the British title, more likely he will go for the Euro and hope it might sneak him into some kind of world ranking.

He has the spotlight on him at the moment, may aswell just try to gate crash the rankings and maybe someone might give a shot, viewing him as easy pickings.

But as I said you never know with him - he might just go and lose his next fight.

I believe Williams was stripped of his British title on Friday follwoing his loss. Audley vs any of the above names for the British title would do me. The British HW scene is looking very competitive of late

Everyone now assumes all you have to do to beat Audley is apply pressure, but Friday showed us at a certain level, all they achieve with this tactic is the increased likelihood of walking on to a fight-ending counter.

I dont understand how people think fury stands a chance against audley. People are on here blabbing about coleman barrett, he lasted 5 minutes against audley and didnt hurt him once. what does audley have to do to get some recognition? win a gold medal, smash up 3 fighters who are used to fighting 3 round fights.

Tyson fury hasnt dont any of that, i like the guy, but in reality he couldnt even beat mcdonought, the best fighter fury has beat is belshaw and audley beat him in about 8 punches.

I think the fury v harrison fight will happen if he beats mcdermott and fury will end up like enzo mac.

I'd have thought the winner of Sexton v Rogan would be a natural but as he is now aligned with Matchroom, I would venture a fight with a FW fighter is as likely as, well you know.

Personally, I've never understood why he hasn't pursued the German market, they'd love his cautious, back foot, 3 punches a round style.

I only watched the final of last nights prizefighter, but from what i seen Audley was pathetic. He was lucky to find the KO punch to seal the victory, he looked well beaten to me.

people like you get on my titts, you watch a small portion of a fight, or a tournament, or hear about a fight from a mate and then make stupid comments. Harrison sparked a fighter who beat the guy who destroyed danny william, in less than 2 rounds. I takes 9 rounds for the klitsckos to knock out the bums they fight. The first round of the barrett fight he avoided getting into a brawl with a fighter who was trying to knock him out and was cheating (barrett shouldnt be hailed for dirty fighting and headbutting harrison in the face), in the second round harrison picked him apart then knocked him to kingdom come. How does that make him look pathetic.

Audley looked flustered against the feather-fisted Barrett. He weren't throwing anything back and it took that punch to pull the final back for him.

Like i said, i'm no fan of Fury, but judging from the way Audley looked, i think he'll struggle ALOT with Fury. Fury isn't a powerful guy but he packs more of a dig than Barrett, and it'll take more than the dig Barrett was downed with, to put Fury out.

Graham Earl v Ricky Burns 8 Rounder, Graham gets schooled despite fact Burns is a novice, and fighting above his natural weight.

Its not what you know, its who you know, IMO.

Personally, I think Danny should be stripped. He looked awful, again. He looks unable to walk straight across the ring let alone hold a shot. Cuffing blows put him down. It seems on that basis absurd to put him in with Harrison.

Audley can box and he has has a decent punch from a southpaw stance. However, he has shown time and time again that when he steps up just a little in the quality of the opposition, he is found wanting. Look at the defeats on his record, not exactlly top class heavyweights that have beaten him.

At his age and this far into his pro career, he should be fighting top level fighters already, but he isn`t and with good reason. I think he knows deep down that he does not have the heart for a real scrap.

Let`s see him in with Chisora or Tom Dallas, a young prospect who will be looking to knock him out.

He is such a frustrating fighter to watch. He rarely opens up in flurries and his defence goes out of the windown when the exchanges start (watch how high and exposed his chin is when he gets involved in an exchange).

To be fair rogan, williams and sprott are all legitimate british top 5 fighters. And he destroyed williams in the rematch, was clearly outboxing sprott, and nobody thought rogan was as gritty as he turned out to be that was a suprise.

OK, but legitimate top 5 British fighters is unfortunately a good way short of World title level (or at least a realistic chance of winning at world title level). It is at world title level Audley would need to fight and win to get a title. Hope it happens, just cannot see it happening.

I can see fighting Euro in Feb on Matchroom bill, can't see working with Wazza again!
