A light puncher who thinks he has power, and has no regard for defense.....yeah i think its safe to say Sideshow Bob ain't going to be ripping any trees up anytime soon. Lucky for him the opponent last night had no power and even less ambition.

Especially when the guy who's smacking him with the jabs has a record of 1-8

I don't know if you guys are thinking the same as me but since the diabolical decsion at the McDermot v Fury fight the TV analists seem be be going OTT with praise for refs last night we had a premature stoppage of Thaxton when he only appered stuned ,ok murray was well on to win but the ref never gave Jon a chance, Then Phil Fury was given a clear victory in what was at best a draw to say that Byrne's only point came from a low blow from Fury is an insult to the kid for the last two rounds of four he was landing the cleaner puches & was well worth at least a draw. It's time that we the boxing fans started a campain to get three judges for every pro fight

I wouldnt say every pro fight but instead of having the ref judge it have 1 judge at ringside to let the ref get on with his job

It would cost to much to have 3 judges at every fight but 1 might be do-able

i think both of the Fury's have too many people telling them how great they look. Even after poor performances in the ring. Phil definatly has alot of work to do. Needs to learn how to land the body shots behind the elbow, not below them , this lead to the low shots last night.

man he might aswell give up now th other kid was a pussy 1-8 and he the fight was close man. what would happen if he steped in the ring with some1 like 4-10 he would get killed. all he is doing is living of tyson furys name. and even tyson need to get into shape and hit the gym more hard if he wants to get anywhere but it might happen he has joined robert mck gym.

I did spend the first 5 minutes flitting on Boxrec between Fury's and Byrne's records and wondering why the fck I was watching this boy on Saturday night prime time tele. It's fckin ridiculous. Is this Mick Hennessy's work or ITV's do you reckon?

I reckon it was only because a couple of the live fights went really early.

I've just noticed, too, that these two had already boxed, on Phil's debut. This was Phil's second fight.
